It does that once and a while. I think it's one of those things like when an avatar refuseses to get rid of a certain item, or layer something in a different way. I haven't tried re-logging yet. It will fix itself eventually. Could be my IE browser too.

Credit cards are a pain in the tushy. You can mail your donation and they also accept money orders (I think so.. they used to anyway but I haven't been keeping up with ways to donate)
