Could, yeah. But the additions I plan on adding to my file delve a bit more into the plants and such themselves than really sure set in universe relations. And there's also the thing if I'm going to add a section on our wands, that could get lengthy depending on how long this place stays up and if I want to put little summaries for them, too.

IDK, with your knowledge of wands, and what happened to him, I would almost see Ollivander as actually trying to find an assistant...But who knows...

Age is always a factor, too. The wandmaker apprenticeship doesn't start until after schooling. And studying wandlore is another thing altogether, which they could do under someone that knows lore, but isn't a maker.

I might have to do a little research to pick out which subjects might be particularly helpful.

Hmmm...well one would think care of magical creatures (possibly) and then Herbology (possibly)...

I'd imagine CoMC could help with dealing with bowtruckles, and I was thinking Herbology for sure.

Yuppers...and CoMC would also help with learning about the other creatures that wand cores come from. (and possibly cultivating said wand cores)

Iiii doubt they would be quite as picky with the 'only using the finest cores' thing. They'd probably see ALL materials as having their own charm.

For sure. I mean, it's not just making a ton of wands and matching them to someone like Ollivander does, no. There's a strong history with making personal wands out of the materials a customer wants to use, or selling custom jobs to their specifications. Of course, those ways mean a lot more poor matches, but so long as they get fair warning... -shrug-

But then again, a wand with enchanted cake core would more than likely choose Hyjin so who knows...
