It's been a while since a band I am really interested in is currently active, since most of my favorites are either broken up or just casual musicians on the side. So when my absolute favorite band announced that their new album is dropping in under a week, I freaked out with glee.

So, yeah. Stepdad, an electropop group that only recently has been surfacing, has their first album out soon and after listening to it today, it's going to be amazing. Preordering it as soon as I get paid.

Bloc Party, a band I haven't listened to much since 2007, also has an album coming out soon. As well as Miike Snow. All of them I'm looking forward to immensely. :3

I'm looking forward to Linkin Park's next album. Looks to be promising and a return to their Hybrid Theory work.

I watched the trailer for Muse's new album, and I am dreading it so much. It seems they've gone dubstep-esque. Argh, I hate it! My favourite band!

Me too. I was very disappointed. The first part of the trailer was cool, but then it went all... ugh!

Green Day's Uno album. :D

Mumford and Sons' Babel comes out in September. I'm excited for that. The Avett Brothers are also releasing an album that month. So, lots of new stuff to look forward to. ^^
