Nic didn't seem to be having any luck brainstorming either. Laurel's camera was still probably the closest one.

"Doesn't your tablet have one?" Laurel asked.

Nic blinked, not sure. He put Laurel down in a chair before going to get it and bringing it to her.

Laurel started at it a moment before looking at Nic, "Does it?" she asked, looking clueless.

Nic fiddled with it for a minute before a little panel opened, revealing a camera.

Laurel grinned, "Can we get both of us in it?" she asked excitedly.

Nic didn't seem too excited to try as he sat down next to Laurel.

So Laurel fiddled around with it until she was able to get both of their heads and shoulders in the frame, "Smile!" she told Nic as she snapped a pic.

When the preview came up, Nic had a rather puzzled expression on his face as if he hadn't understood what Laurel meant when she said 'smile.'

Laurel blinked then chuckled before turning to Nic, "Smile, like this," she demonstrated.

Nic slowly tried again. He actually managed a bit of a smile, but it still looked rather forced. Maybe she'd be better off with the puzzled expression.

Laurel pause a moment before smiling and trying again. This time, right at the flash, she kissed Nic.

When the preview came up, a very funny thing had happened. Nic's face had turned just slightly to Laurel, and his eyes were looking at her rather than the camera. His fake smile had melted away into nothing, but still, somehow, the camera had captured a brief instance of rare emotion. Nic was happy and looking at Laurel passionately.

Nic blinked as he looked at the picture, not seeing the difference, and displeased that Laurel had surprised him and broke his smile.

Laurel blinked at the picture for awhile before smirking knowingly, "It looks like someone wants another kiss," she laughed lightly.

Nic blinked, not sure where that came from. But he didn't object.

Laurel tilted her head a little at Nic, "But... If you start kissing me, we'll both want more. And... you want to wait, right?" she murmured.
