I think book one is my favorite of the series, and Hermine is my favorite character.

Hermine is smart and bookish - and I am, too, so I like her.

Book one just seems fun. After it, they just keep getting darker.

Nice. Snape became my favorite character after long hating him.

I was just literally forced to adore him after reading all the back story of why he treated Harry the way he did.

I liked Snape and Nev from the start. They please me.

I ended up falling for Snape's character once the development occurred...
