"... Yeah," Raven confirmed, but he didn't explain.

Wolfe shook his head a little, "Don't try to change yourself," he muttered, clearly unhappy.

"... I have to change a bit," Raven disagreed. "I at least have to try to learn how to defend myself if I'm going to stay here; whether it will actually do any good or not."

Wolfe watched Raven for a moment longer before walking over and sitting beside him. It didn't take long before the leader mask fell off and the hurting Wolfe appeared once more, "Thanks... For being willing to do that," he murmured.

Raven didn't say anything, still hurting himself a bit. Even though he had already started to learn, he still seemed to have a lot of reservations about ever using a gun. Something else also seemed to be bothering him.

"There are ways to protect yourself other than that," he stated quietly, "Ways that won't kill."

"... I don't think a tazer would ever do me much good," Raven replied with a little sigh.
Default #5960
Wolfe shook his head, he wasn't talking about a tazer. "I'll show you," Wolfe said quietly as he stood, glad he could focus on Raven's problems instead of his own.

Raven seemed rather hesitant, but he slowly put down the guitar and stood.

Wolfe lead him to his Juttle and to the hidden weapons compartment Raven had seen awhile ago. He pulled out a small gun like weapon. It was clearly not a gun, though it had a trigger. Wolfe set a chair about ten feet in front of Raven and handed him the guy like weapon. "Shoot it," he said simply.
Default #5963
Raven looked tentatively at the gun before taking the stance he had learned over the past few days and aiming. He needed some work, but at least the projectile would go generally in the right direction. After taking another moment or two to aim he pulled the trigger at the chair.

Raven felt a sudden slight tiredness though out his body and a tingling in his hands as he pulled the trigger. Nothing could be seen or heard but a fraction of a second after he fired, the chair was knocked back by a pulse and slammed into the wall at the end of the hallway a good twenty feet down. "That will knock anyone out cold," Wolfe stated.

Raven started a little, not expecting that to come out of the little gun. He slowly lowered it and took his fingers away from the trigger still stunned.
Default #5966
Wolfe walked over to Raven, "Practice with a pistol for your aim but know that this gun is more forgiving. Hit the person anywhere and they'll go flying," he explained, "Also, don't use it too much, it takes energy from your body to create the pulse."

"... Huh..." Raven said, looking at his hands and fighting back a yawn. "How...?" he started, not sure if he wanted to know how it worked.
Default #5968
Wolfe raised an eyebrow, seeming to insinuate that he wouldn't understand even if Wolfe tried to explain.
