Nic didn't say anything. After a long moment he reached over and put the sheets around Laurel to help warm her up.

Laurel took Nic's hand in her own, kissing it lightly, "Does it hurt?" she asked quietly.

Nic shook his head.

Laurel nodded and leaned over, resting her head on his shoulder, "Let's sleep soon," she murmured.

Nic was silent for a long moment before telling Laurel, "... You should go to your own room and rest tonight."

Laurel flinched a little but said nothing.

Nic didn't say anything more either, not sure what to say.

"Got what you wanted so you're kicking me out, huh?" Laurel barely whispered.

Nic rubbed Laurel's shoulder with a bit of a sigh. "No," he whispered. "... I want to have sex with you tonight, but you're still hurting and I..." But he didn't continue.

"And you...?" Laurel whispered.

Nic didn't say anything for a long time, looking at his bandaged fist.

Laurel paused before wrapping both her hands around his bandaged fist, "Can I at least kiss you before I'm kicked out?" she asked quietly.

Nic nodded quietly.

So Laurel leaned over kissing Nic's cheek before going for his lips and pausing.

Wolfe finally stopped the boat and walked over to Raven, stealing some of his blanket.

Nic hovered there for a moment, feeling Laurel's breath on his skin. He didn't want her to leave. But he couldn't get too close tonight. He clenched his injured fist briefly before trying to relax, leaning in, and kissing Laurel lightly on the lips.

Raven chuckled a little, tugging back a bit before giving him half the blanket.

Laurel wasn't helping much as she melted under his touch, it was clear she wasn't going to be the first to pull away.

Wolfe leaned over onto Raven, wrapping the blanket around himself tightly. He didn't seem to like the cold.
