I really haven't commissioned anyone on Gaia for ages.. maybe cause I never liked going on the forums there much..

getting art on gaia is more of a miss, miss, miss, hit, miss type of deal. You might find an amazing artist but they are asking for the moon for their art. Or you find an amazing artist but they are closed or just a plan asshole. Then you get the bad art... Yes there is bad art. And they are asking for the moon as well. Yet every once in awhile you find an artist that is so amazing they give you stuff like what I have of Roland for just 1 gold.

I think any site is like that with art, not just Gaia. All depends on how bad you want the art.. I have a few nice pieces my friend got me as a present from Gaia as well as a few pieces I had gotten before I lost interest.. Than again, I am not filthy rich on there either. :3

And that's cool. Did you ever get the finishing touches on Alex? :3 I'm still itching for a new test rat to sketch that's not female.
