she was the lady who made the seasons happen so the harvest could be had, her kid was the famous persophone, demeter pitched a fit and that is how winter happened XD

ok so i just looked it up and there is /no/ information that supports the 'dragon' theory, it is just a winged chariot and there is very little on her riding it, most go back to the original god of the harvest and no dragons there either
