Default #7393
The boy blinked, looking a little confused. Which gave away that he did in fact have a name.

--

Raven blinked, glancing at Nic before following after Wolfe.

Kale watched the boy for a moment, "I'm Kale. I don't have anything again you... you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tough luck, kid," he sighed before pulling out a tablet.

The boy continued his silence, still looking afraid.
Default #7396
"If you don't tell me your name, I'll make up one. No one likes my made up names," he cautioned.

--

Once they were back on the boat Wolfe sat down, "I told him about the bet," he explained to Raven.

After another moment of debating, the boy swallowed again before replying quietly, "Sometimes people call me Fin."

--

Raven took a deep breath and sighed a little before nodding. He seemed a little surprised his head was still attached to his body.

Kale nodded and typed something up. Then he held up a sort of scanner and quickly scanned up and down Fin's body before taking some more notes.

--

Wolfe looked over at the beach again. Laurel was still very asleep. But now she was muttering quietly, it didn't seem like a pleasant sleep.
Default #7399
Fin tried to scoot away a little more, but he was already as far away as he was going to get.

--

Nic let Laurel be for the most part.

"Don't fall off," Kale replied before scanning Fin with a different scanner. After that he seemed satisfied and joined Blaze at the helm.

--

Finally Laurel seemed to be drifting into a lighter sleep, moving around on Nic's lap before finally opening her eyes slightly with a yawn.
Default #7401
Fin stayed quietly in his corner the rest of the trip. After awhile he started clutching at something under his shirt.

--

Nic grabbed the water for her quietly in case she was thirsty again.
Default #7402
Kale glanced at the boy and then at Blaze, "You get kids better than me," he stated quietly, "Why don't you babysit him?"

--

Laurel seemed a little out of it as she slowly grinned up at Nic, "Hey thar Mr. Handsome," she teased hoarsely, head flopping to one side as if she was too tired to keep it up.
Default #7403
"I'm driving the boat," Blaze replied calmly, still emotionally removed.

--

Nic nodded a little before lifting her head up for her and slowly giving her some water.
Default #7404
"I'll drive," Kale responded easily.

--

Laurel drank it thirstily, "You..." she murmured once she was done, "got more freckles!"
Default #7405
"I'm driving," Blaze repeated. She didn't want to babysit the kid.

--

Nic's typical frown deepened a little. He put the water aside before carefully standing with Laurel and taking her over the boat, leaving everything else behind.
Default #7406
Kale sighed, "But you're a girl," he protested, "and you're more of a people person than I am."

--

Wolfe watched Nic and Laurel board. Laurel still had a silly grin on her face as she continued to focus on Nic. "Ready to go?" he asked Nic.
Default #7407
"I'm driving," Blaze repeated one more time before adding, "... You're doing fine."

--

"She needs a doctor," Nic replied simply, but seriously as he carefully put her down.
Default #7408
Kale didn't seem so certain but after a moment he gave in and returned to the kid. "How old are you anyway?" he asked, "10?" Kale really didn't know kids.

--

So Wolfe walked over but glanced at Nic before approaching Laurel closer. He seemed to be waiting for permission. Apparently, he had enough medical knowledge.
