Anyone else feel that it was too hard to get event currency? I didn't get enough for a single bundle and posted much more than I usually do.

It was a bit harder then usual but not 'too' hard.

I think the main problem was that a lot of people had to start classes/school during the even.

Well, I only wanted 2 of the items, Faust's damned raiment and Ryuko's unholy regalia, and I didn't get enough for either. I have 26 threads and 8 shards and that is all I got for the whole event. Maybe we could get a reduction in costs for the items to use up the leftovers since they were overpriced to begin with. Maybe if there was a 100% chance of dropping they would have been right, but there wasn't.

Event contests are an easy way to earn more event currency. Did you enter all of the contests?

To be honest, I helped in the pricing of the event items, but I was operating under the assumption that currency would have a 100% drop rate and was aiming for the casual user to be able to earn 1.5 to 2 sets without contest help. Because of the 50% drop rate, it ended up that a casual poster would either have to earn currency from contests or post a little more than usual in order to obtain a full set. There's nothing wrong with some event's items being a little rarer than others, and I know that many users ended up with extra currency/items. The items might not hit the market immediately, but I'm sure there will be some sold at some point. Masquerade items from last year were fairly rare during their respective event as well, but now see regular sale in the marketplace.

I entered 2 of the contests. I don't know if the rewards have gone out yet though.

OOooh so there was a 50% chance for getting event currency. That explains why I wasn't getting any currency...

Getting currency for this event was worse then the Masquerade, and I hope you guys remember full well on the hell I gave you because of the currency system for the Masquerade >.>...

The only way I managed to get a whole event set was because Alpha was awesome and gave me the other half I was missing.
Hopefully there is better communication between the staff when you guys are creating the prices for event items.
