I have a blog but... I don't really understand how to make blogs interesting. So I usually quit them after two or three posts.

Yeah, I know what you mean Johnny. I always feel like it's boring. I think if you have readers you are more motivated to write.

I agree -and- disagree. I've seen blogs used for professional purposes. As in an account of the journey to finish a project... or less pro like an account of a trip *nods*

In that case, you don't need avid readers who follow...but if in the future someone asks about it, you can link them to the journal, rather than explaining the progress over and over again to people separately

No one ever reads my blogs... so I stop after a while.
But I shall make this one interesting.
I'm browsing the internet for something super interesting to make my first post about. * o*

^ I used to post art on my LiveJournal that I would post nowhere else. In fact, making stuff exclusive to a place, can definitely make people want to follow it

The problem is, whatever I have to say there's probably someone else out there who says it better. So I'm sort of redundant as a blogger.

And I don't go on exciting trips or do any exciting projects, so a blog would pretty much just be my thoughts. The last blog I had was about writing and books, but there are about a trillion other book-related blogs out there.

There are blogs about everything on the web.
But none with your exact thoughts ! :'D

I think you should give your opinion if you really wish to. No one else matters. I would read it if you like.

No one can say what's in your mind, the way that you'd say it. You're unique. Even if the topic is covered before, no one can cover it like you would.

And even if you think there's better out there, there's also someone out there who might think how YOU say stuff, is better than any other. =] So do it for that person and do it for yourself. Do it...cause it's fun, no?

A good blog is usually pretty defined, though. It's usually about books, or politics, or music, or something. I'm not sure I have enough to say about any one thing to qualify as a decent blog.
