Raven raised his eyebrows, but didn't question it as he put his hand on Wolfe's again.

Nic was a little surprised. She broke his stride, but after a little adjusting, she was leaning up against him and he was slowly typing away at the same time.

Wolfe went in for a kiss, he could use some affection today.

Laurel didn't seem to mind, she closed her eyes and silently listened to his heartbeat.

Raven returned Wolfe's affection; needing a bit himself at the moment.

Nic kept working for at least a half hour more before turning off his computer.

Laurel still hadn't said a word. It wasn't clear if she'd fallen asleep.

Regardless, Nic picked up Laurel and tucked her into one side of the bed before getting into the other.

Laurel apparently wasn't asleep because the moment Nic was in on the other side, she moved to join him.

Nic let her, but it looked like he intended to fall asleep.

Laurel didn't appear to have anything else in mind as she wrapped her arms around him and relaxed.

So Nic fell asleep with Laurel beside him.

Since Wolfe seemed to be getting better at interpreting suggestions, Raven told him quietly, "I'm ready for the next step whenever you are."

(LOL I assumed something took place in the jungle XD)

Wolfe didn't even hesitate.

Raven was a little surprised by Wolfe's reaction, but he seemed happy.

In the morning, Long was once again awoken by Rosen as he entered with a swollen nose that dampened his handsomeness a bit. He was pulling a tray behind him and closed the door before sniffing at Long, obviously feeling very sorry for himself and his poor nose.

Long didn't seem to feel sorry for Rosen as he was rudely awakened.

"Oway," Rosen said, voice funny as he wheeled to tray over, "Twime to twy twa cakes."

Long didn't say anything. It looked like he was having some difficulty making out what Rosen was saying.

Rosen glared a little defensively, not liking that his charming voice was befuddled. "Wad? You nwever heard a sthuffed nothse bethore?!"
