Long didn't answer.

Rosen rolled his eyes again, "So, when did you know you liked guys?" Rosen asked, genuinely curious.

Long was silent for a long time like he wasn't going to answer. But then he finally replied, "I think I always knew."

"Really?" Rosen asked, turning on his side get a look at Long's face, "Then you're kinda like Wolfe. I don't understand how you could just... know."

Long shrugged. "... I couldn't make myself... find women desirable," he explained.

"Hmm..." Rosen replied, thinking that over, "Guess that makes sense," he nodded. "As for me," he chuckled, "In reality, neither sex is really desirable."

Long paused before nodding a little.

"Makes sense, right?" Rosen shrugged, "That way I don't get too attached."

"... Were you always that way?" Long asked.

"I guess so," Rosen shrugged, not seeming upset at all, "Thomas wanted practical weapons after all. Wouldn't do if I got hung up after the first girl, right?" he chuckled though a split second, his laugh sounded odd. "But anyway, you're safe around me," he teased.

Long seemed almost a little disappointed.

Rosen patted his leg, "So, whatya want to do today?" he asked cheerfully.

Long blinked, confused.

Rosen paused, "Video games or shopping?" he grinned.

Long's expression remained the same, although Rosen got the sense he didn't care for either of those options.

"Well then, you pick something," Rosen challenged.
