I went trick or treating my senior year of high school. I was 17 so I figured I was technically still a kid = )

Had a hot caramel apple cider the other day... I love fall!

Walmart, man. Walmart <3

Ever see a 21 year old woman nearly tackle a clothing stand?

That was me. xDDD

o: Batty, I love those shirts and I'm so jelly of the necklace, it looks so cute <: You should sell them~

Default #118
She so should! extra money is still money.
You know how many people on Etsy overprice things that don't even look cute like your stuff does?
Default #119
I have an etsy, actually! <3 But I haven't made anything in awhile. I do a whole bunch of crafty things, they just don't sell very well.

Don't give up on it though, people just need to wade through the resellers and people who can't price properly to get to the good stuff.

Etsy's a great place!
....
When you find quality goods for the right price that is. SERIOUSLY? A jar with a fairy in it for 17 bucks plus tax that is the size of 1/4 of a pencil!? I can get that for 1 dollar at any anime convention without even having to pay for a pass to get in. >.>...

Illu, try a crochet hat for 10k

I can't wrap my head around all the insane pricing people do.
Default #123
They must be using some extra fancy wool from fairy sheep for a hat at that price. Crochet takes a while though, unless you're my stepsister and can do it in your sleep.

Ugh. Don't want to think about halloween yet. My brain is already fretting about Christmas and the money I *don't* have for it. People might be getting handmade gifts again.

I think I'm going to go lazy on a halloween costume again. Red shirt, red pants, and some manner of green hat with a stem and be a chili pepper. Job done.

I've been vaguely thinking about setting up an Etsy to sell some crochet animals but I have no idea how successful I'd be... if it'd even be worth it... I sold like five octopi at a con last spring for $10 apiece and probably could have sold more if I'd had more...

I had issues with crochet. Never really got past one line string. I can sorta knit though, but I'm not fancy enough to actually make things that require shape and such yet. And yarn is expensive.
Default #126
...it is? Then again with animals you want to use cheap yarn that isn't too soft, heh.
Default #127
Well, my sister makes afghans and such with croquet, so she goes through a lot. My aunt knits everything out of baby wool a lot of the time, which isn't always cheap, even at WalMart.

I used to make peg dolls, which were easy enough since I could get away with fabric ends and ribbon scraps and such. I don't think those would sell terribly well though, as much as people did like them. I made on of my sister in her dog show outfit and that she still has (the doll, not the outfit).

Ah, yeah, animals don't generally cost much (especially since I make mostly small cute ones). Probably only a few bucks apiece, but they take hours to do, which makes pricing tricky.
