Default #10449
Eventually Rosen wanted another look at the box Long had made him so he went to Long's room.
Default #10450
The door was locked, and Long was in bed with the covers wrapped tightly around him. If he had been sleeping, he wasn't sleeping any more. But something defiantly wasn't right.

Rosen kicked the door unlocked, figuring Long had locked it because of his increasing paranoia. He blinked at the lump in the bed before going over to it. "Uh... Long?" he asked quietly, putting a light hand where he thought was Long's shoulder.

There was a grunt as Long supposedly rolled over. It was difficult to tell, he had pulled the covers over his head. He seemed more sick than paranoid at the moment.

Rosen blinked again, "Hey, I didn't know you got that motion sick," he explained, a little worried, "C'mon, get your head out so you can breath," he said quietly, gently pulling at the top of the covers.

Long didn't fight back too much. He wasn't sick. But upon a little investigating, it actually looked like Long was going through some withdrawal symptoms of some sort. But it wasn't clear from what.

"Ooooh," Rosen stated with a sigh as he sat back a little on the bed and stroked Long's hair, "Do you even know what drug Sheng had you on?"
Default #10456
Long didn't say anything, eyes a little glazed over. There seemed to be a lot about himself that he didn't know. But Long did seem to find Rosen a little comforting.

Rosen took a moment to message Zala, knowing Snow and Wolfe were too busy, before focusing back on Long. "We'll see if we can figure it out," he promised Long, still stroking his hair, "Do you want some water?"
Default #10458
Long didn't reply.

Rosen sighed a little, digging out one of Long's hands and rubbing it. Zala then came in with a few things. She took a blood sample and hooked Long up to an IV drip for the time being. Rosen didn't appear to like any of this, especially not the blood, but he stayed by Long.

Long didn't resist, seeming to know the drill.
Default #10461
Zala took the blood and began to run tests. Rosen paused before laying down next to Long, face close to his, "You're really a lot of trouble, you know that?" he stated with a sigh.
Default #10462
Long didn't say anything, but after awhile he rolled his head a little closer to Rosen.

The tests gave slightly ambiguous results. The withdrawal seemed to be effecting almost everything, body lacking some chemicals while his levels for others were extremely high. No known drug caused these effects. But upon further investigation, whatever the drug was, it seemed to have been tailored to Long. Long wasn't critical medically, but he might become so if the effects didn't wear off in a reasonable amount of time.

But one of the effects Zala might take note of was Long's extremely high testosterone levels, which is probably why he wasn't opposed to Rosen cuddling up with him.

Zala came back in and plugged Long up to a few other drips with combatted the worst of the drugs effects. She left the testosterone alone for kicks. Then she went is search of Yue and Blaze.

Rosen smirked a little at Long's reaction before kissing his forehead lightly, "We'll have you right as rain in no time," he promised.
Default #10464
Yue was with James. Blaze was off doing something for Wolfe like usual.

Long still didn't reply. As he started to feel a little better, Rosen noticed he was starting to get more cuddly.
