Mine is fiberglass woven roving sheets affixed to a skateboard helmet. Lots of resin.

Well, less to build when I don't have to make the helmet, too. It's roughly the right shape. I added a V on the front, and made the back extend down further, as well as mounting spots for the "wings." I had to fit it into luggage, so I didn't permanently attach the top wings to the helmet, they're held on with velcro going along a couple ridges I built onto the helmet.

It still ended up looking kinda shoddy, because I kept putting it off for ~6 months, then finally did it in about a week for a couple hours each evening.

I also have an idea for another cosplay, Do you watch fairy tail? if so do you recall or know of a character named Midnight

...I get random cosplay ideas ("it'd be fun to cosplay as ___"), but it requires effort to implement them. XD
