Woopsie followed and looked around, she saw a butterfly and couldn't help chasing after it, batting at it playfully in the green grass. She couldn't believe what a home she'd found in such a short time of arriving.

Paws had dozed off. The sunlight so comforting and warm, the breese through the window so soothing and cool. A cats dream nap area for sure.

Not interested in such things as rotten egg races, Mirri ambled at her own pace outside and torwards the stream she has seen from the window. Looking back she could still see Rin taking on the springy bird toy. The kitten seemed happily occupied, so Mirri contined padding through the grass until she came to a suitable shadey spot next to the stream with an overhanging tree. She climbed up the tree and settled on a brach that hung just a foot above the stream, eyes watching for small flashes in the water that indicated the presence of tiny -and hopefully tastey- fish.

The tweeting toy bird bounced around as the kitten batted it from corner to corner of the cat condo tree. The sounds the thing made didn't sound truly like a bird but it was fun to attack. The bell that dangled from the braclet, found on the street back when their last home caught fire, jingled merrily as she bounced around the top of the carpeted tower.

Cat slowly woke up and rose to her feet. It was about supper time and the food should be ready so she went to the door and called out for everyone.

"Everyone! Food should be ready! Follow me to the kitchen for food!"

Rin heard the word food and look up from her tweeter bird toy. Her stomach gave a small pur as she went to the edge of the condo and looked down. It was so high. Whimpering she backed up into the middle and called out for her guardian.

"Mirri!"

Mirri ceased her fishing when she heard the voice of Cat announcing food, and the smaller voice of Rin crying out in a tone that she knew all too well. Rin was stuck. Again.

The fish would live for another few hours at least.

Mirri walked back to the house at a slightly quicker pace than her usual saunter and found Rin still sitting atop the cat tower. The kitten was going to have to learn to get herself down from her high places one of these days.

Mirri figured the lesson could wait for another day, as there was food around and she wasn't yet sure how many cats were going to have to share it. She jumped to the top of the neighbouring platform, picked up the small kitten in her mouth, then took a more carefull, roundabout route from platform to platform rather than leaping right to the floor.

"Mirri needs to teach me to get down from there. It's so high." She said as the older cat carried her off.

A spred of grilled mice to baked mice layed out on a low table on plates. Roasted phashant with a cat grass and cat nip basting sat in the middle. Bowls of water and saucers of cream were spred out so no one bumped heads while drinking.

Above the Table was a small banner written in human hand, saying.

"Welcome to all the new cats of the manor."

Mirri placed Rin back on the ground and looked over the buffet. She couldn't help licking her lips at the sight of the roasted pheasant and decided quickly that it would be her choice meal for the day.

Perhaps the fish in the steam would live a little longer...
