When I was being emotionally abused last year, a lot of it was very centralized with roleplaying. I was criticized for everything from my inability to make characters on the fly, to being unable to do the fanfic type stuff, how long it would take me to post, the quality of my posts, whether or not I followed the story that they wanted (when they never, in fact, told me where they wanted things to go, because knowing took the fun out of it, apparently), and the list goes on.

It pretty much broke my ability to rp without negative feelings getting involved, and the only person I've been able to maintain anything with is my Deadsie, who knew me before/helped me through that period.

T^T oh Gal I know your pain, some what. It is horrible to be laughed at for something you love. I refuse a lot of partners for some of the reasons you listed and I am afraid to pick up others since I am a flawed human. Though since I don't make cho's eyes bleed I think we are fine. XD.

XD yes the Alice and wonderland one. I was also going to ask Noir if I can have her chess one and start it here. Mirror was really looking forward to that one.

The more I feel like I 'have' to do something, the less I actually want to, and the more I feel bad for putting it off. Part of what Deadsie does so well for me is flipping through different stories whenever I want to.

well, I got those too, gall ..e n e.. I actually flaked on choc. But what I don't get is that.. why would THEY want you to do this and that or whatever's according to how they like it?? I don't get it. It's RP-ing, you don't get to order your partner around for your own good. blegh.

Also, I'm pretty sure most people don't risk actual panic attacks when trying to start up rps. I freaked the fuck out the last time trying to start one with a cho.

i do XD if it is not with pog and even sometimes /with/ pog i freak the hell out, that is why i usually try to get the other person to do it and why i feel compelled to offer(so the other person does not have to stress)
