Arikana, it takes you 4 weeks to make an avi? Maybe I read that wrong though. Just curious as to the process if so.

Yeah, it takes me three to four weeks to make an avatar. T_T I tend to play around a lot while I'm making it and I probably change my mind on ideas like ten to twelve times, during those three to four weeks, before I finally finish with something I like. @_@

Arikana you sound like a true artist. Do you paint? When you craft your words do you revise and revise? I think I could spend weeks on an avatar, but I would get a bit impatient to try something new though. Sometimes I make them and take a snapshot and then discard them. In case I want to go back to them sometime, ya know? Like I have part of a good idea but just don't have whatever I need to complete it. I have a program called OneNote and it copies whatever part of your screen you want to copy into a document like taking a note. So I do that with my avatars.

Uh, I crochet, kind of knit, and used to draw and paint. owo Though I never really redid things over and over when I drew and painted back then. Too young to really care about that stuff back then. XD I am quite nitpicky about poorly done stitches with crocheting and knitting, though I'm not good enough at knitting, yet, to go back and fix those poor ones. >.< Writing, yeah, I usually type it all up first and then read things over a few times to make sure it sounds right. >w< Unless if I'm rushed, then I won't do so, and the last time I did that for a paper, I got a pretty damn good mark on it. So it's not a major issue if I'm rushed. Last minute papers for the win. :P Even with my posts on forum sites, I read over a couple times. >w>;;

I read them over too, but actually I am not too nitpicky about forum posts. But if I write something or create a sonnet, that is something I rework over and over to try to make it perfect. But once done then I am done.

Now I am going to work on a new avatar. I am not sure of the colors though. If anyone has any suggestions I am open. I'll let you know if I decide on something in particular but right now I am open.

Hey, all you avi-savvy people: I'm having slight issues with this cosplay. Do you think it'd look better as is, or with the brown jacket from Time Lord? (My problem with the Time Lord coat is that it's kind of faded and not-too-well shaded/pixeled. However, this one's not long and swooshy enough.)
