Since the Silk browser is causing problems for you, one of these may do you some good. I've used both; they're quite passable, so try each to see which works better for you. (Note that this is Opera Mobile, not Opera Mini -- Opera Mini will have similar problems to Silk.)

Ive looked them up in my app store but they aren't there.
Underneath the "compatible with your device" it has a red x next to ____'s 2nd kindle
