I think I wandered onto the Gaia forums once. (I didn't really know what forums were, and didn't know they were a main part of Gaia.) I had a newbie question about houses in Gaia (does anyone still actually do that? And aquariums?) and I posted in the Lifestyles section, or whatever the section about real-life problems was called.

Hey, I'm a newbie. I even /mentioned/ I was a newbie. Got two replies, both of which were ridiculing me for posting non-lifestyle questions in a lifestyle forum. Welp. Thanks. At the time, I didn't even know that I'd been replied to. Seeing those replies about six years later was entertaining.

Woooow. That's so rude. o _o But it is kind of entertaining to see it after years. We all make our newbie mistakes.I used to love playing in the Gaia houses. I always thought it was SO cool. ;u; If it weren't for trolls and sex children prowling around, I'd keep going to them. Just for fun. :U

Espy- Yeah, the 12 and 13 year olds that misuse the sitting button to make it look like they're having sex..Or the ones that do it via the chat feature. - _ -

nice, also i made a bg only gaia avi, it kinda sucks but it is really fucking hard to do on that site XD

Eww. What the fuck? That's just plain nasty. I've had friends who accidentally walked in on people doing that.

'i am' which removes avatars also removed the back layer bg so there is white where there should have been lavander and petals, i tried a half dozen different ones all the same effect

-sigh- Speaking of lonely, I have lots of friends who are around 21/22, and yesterday during Nerf Wars, one of them was seriously freaking out about not being able to have a long-term relationship with anyone.

Espy- Oh my. . _ . That's always an odd situation to be in. When I come across people like that I try to see exactly why they say that.

I mean, he's awesome and decently good-looking, and has had a couple of relationships before but hasn't been able to keep any of them. He was saying that even though he knows finding a job or grad school would be more important than trying to find a women, the first two just seem worthless right now. He's having issues trying to figure out exactly what it is about him that keeps women away.

...And then someone said "Okay, raise your hand if you're currently not in a relationship." Out of the eight or so people in the room at the moment, only two people had their hands down.
