Tried out WoW and I haven't really played the others. I couldn't really get into WoW mainly because a good portion of the players are rude especially to new players. :/
~ You can dance if you want too,
You can leave your friends behind.
Because if they don't dance,
Then they're no friends of mine ~
Could've sworn there was another thread like this somewhere...
Anyways, I just recently got into TERA, and that's about the only MMO I've been playing lately (what a surprise!)...I'm probably going to try Star Wars TOR this weekend.
I've played almost every single free-to-play MMORPG out there.
The game itself? Free to play up to level 20. Both factions included.
And Old Republic is good Espy. Played it before they made it free to play though....well, did the "up to level 20 thing". Also, tried out Star Trek Online?
I'm only a man with a candle to guide me
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me
A monster, a monster
Currently I play LOTRO as my mmo of choice, Tera goes free to play next month though hardly did well in the states and my poison I am really waiting to release or get into a beta for is Elder Scrolls online ~felt the need to share~
That's the main reason I almost never play MMOs, but it's much more fun when I have somebody to play with. And I also like how everything outside of town gives me my own instance so I don't have any max-level jerks ruining my game and taking all my stuff.
My very first MMO was PWI [Perfect World International], and have since played 9Dragons, Forsaken World, Aika Online, Heroes of Three Kingdoms, WoW [the F2P portion], Chronicles of Spellborne, Aion, and was one of the first beta testers for FireFall - which is pretty awesome, even though it's still working out some kinks. :'D
There are definitely a few others, but i don't remember what they are at the moment... >>;
One I'm planning on playing when I have the time is Blacklight: Retribution. *o*
