I want to very much get into homestuck, but there is SO MUCH READING to catch up on. I'll never be able to do it.

When I started reading Homestuck, it took me about a month or so to get all caught up.
I haven't read it in a while, so I'm sure I have a lot to catch up on.

I however caught up in a few months when I got into it over the summer. I did skip the midnight crew intermission the first time through, but I've since read through it. ^^

I'm all caught up in the videos, and waiting for the next update D<
But yeah, hearing the voices and such is a WAY better way to "read" it, versus the walls of text on the real site. You pay attention to things better, and you don't get stuck on the quirks. Because Vriska's, Terezi's, and Equius' quirks can be so hard to read sometimes x.x;

Well, as my signature says, he met with an accident, so that's one reason his text is so abrasive. He's actually the most lucid and understandable around Kurloz Makara, his moirail. The story is he used all of his power to stop something, and did serious damage to his brain. As a result, he cycles through emotions very quickly.
