By the time they were done it was quite late "Hope you didn't have anywhere to be," said Kurt handing him a cigarette.

Randy took it. "Naw, I'm already done with work for the day..." He raised an eyebrow as he paused to draw from the cigarette and blow a ring of smoke. "Baby prob'ly wonderin' why I ain't home yet, though. I didn't plan on making any stops."

Kurt kissed his cheek, "Well why don't you get home?" he said.

"Yeah..." Randy VIII stood and stretched, holding the cigarette between his teeth. He adjusted his shorts for the third time that day, blew another puff of smoke, and kissed Kurt goodbye.

Baby was waiting up for him when he got home, "You're here late," she said.

"I made a coupla' unexpected stops along the way," he explained. "First I hadda go talk to Cat, then I met up with Kurt." He grinned and opened the shoe box. "Look what Klaus give me!"

"Those must have cost a fortune!" Baby gasped.

"You bet. Ain't he good to me?" Randy sat down to remove the shoes he was wearing and try on the new ones.

"Yes he is, he must really like you," said Baby.

"He sure does, an' I like him, too," Randy VIII replied. He stood and took a few strides across the room, swishing his hips and striking a pose. "Boy, these are perfect!"

"It's like they were made for you," said Baby with a whistle.

"Pretty sure they were!" Randy swished his way back over to her and gave her a kiss. "Whatchoo been up to while I was gone?"

"Oh not much, Gloria came over and helped with the twins but it was a nice quiet day for the most part," said Baby.

Randy nodded, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm a little tired now. You wan' put me to bed?"

Baby giggled and kissed him, "Alright, come here honey,"

He smiled and followed her upstairs, carefully removing the new shoes before crawling into bed and burrowing beneath the covers.
