We've been through a lot. He's my best friend, and he's losin' his ever living mind.

Im in a online basic composition class and after a week the prof hasn't picked up my paper from the drop box and wont return my email. Very lame, she lives a few hundred miles away, just work for the school online.

Not all guys are like that and it's not just guys either women can be the same way.. It's a human thing..

But she was talking about a guy.

Most guys are like that because society. Rarely have I met one willing to talk about personal stuff.

I am sorry, but I find statement like this offensive, Just because you haven't met alot of guys like that does not make them rare, just rare in that area, That or you just haven't met them.

I realize she was talking about a guy, I was stating that you were saying "guys" Pointing at the entire population of guys and accusing each and everyone of them of something..

That would be like me saying girls don't play video games.

I didn't say all guys.

In our society, men are told to be tough and that sharing emotion makes them weak. I know you've seen it in a show or a movie or maybe real life before where a guy gets sensitive and then is made fun of for it by his guy friends because it's not "manly."

I'm not saying all guys are this way and I'm not saying I agree with it. I'm saying a lot of guys are this way because it's how they're raised and told to act. It's the same as society telling women how they should look. I would also like to point out that if they're "rare in that area" or if I just "haven't met them" then I must not be looking hard enough. Despite the fact I've joined almost every avatar site out there, tons of social network sites, tumblr, role playing sites, schools, work... I've met tons of guys. Probably hundreds. Seen them interact. A majority of men are not just going to go out and say how they're feeling because like I said society teaches men to be tough. And the guys who do tell things usually only tell one or two close friends.

Now if you've met a lot, then good for you.

You should not be offended by my initial statement because, I will repeat for probably the third or fourth time now, it's society. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way. We still have far to go before gender roles and everything else isn't fucked.
