"Would ye like a slice of cherry pie?" Erickson offered.

"Sure would." Randy VIII parked the stroller in front of a nearby bench. "Lay it on me, sugar!"

Erickson chucked and handed him a generous slice, "Tis mah own homemade recipe," he said proudly giving Randy a cup of cider, he gave each of the children some smaller pie wedges and their own cups before giving Baby the same.

"That ain't bad... That ain't bad at all," Randy VIII remarked. He gave his empty plate an appreciative lick.

"Try the lemon custard pie," said Erickson giving him another piece.

"Ooh, y'all just got 'em lined up here for me, ain't ya?" Randy VIII seemed quite pleased. "I love lemon."

"Thought ye might, tis mah specialty," said Erickson with a grin.

"Mm. Oh, honey. How can I get me one a' these?" asked Randy VIII.

"Well ye can enter the pie eating contest and pick yar flavor of pie, the winner gets a blue ribbon and a free pass to an all-ye-can-eat seafood buffet," said Erickson.

Randy's eyebrows shot upward. "You're kiddin'."

Erickson shook his head, "Eat the most pies in twenty minutes and ye win," he said, "the contest starts in half an hour,"

"Long as they ain't pumpkin, I'm in," said Randy with a grin, delighted by the very idea.

"Ye can have them all lemon if ye like," said Erickson.

"Might just do that." Randy bent to clean any traces of pie off of the children, using his tongue almost as much as the napkin.

"Should Ah sign ye up? Ye ain't tha only schikelgruber ta join, Randy Seven signed up an hour ago," said Erickson.

"Seven!" Randy hissed with all the enthusiasm of a cartoon character who'd just discovered the work of his arch nemesis. "You sign me up, sug'. I can take 'im..."
