After the group got up and headed out Destro came up and walked along Mizuki "Once we reach the capital we shall head to the home tree" Destro spoke lightly. "From there the queen will explain to you everything that you need to know" He said lightly "After all it was her that requested we found you" Drestro said looking ahead of him.

That was something Mizuki found interesting. Why on earth would the queen wish of him? Something was amiss here and Mizuki could not help to think that there was more to this then training. "There is something your not telling me" Mizuki said lightly as he looked to Destro but the male kept his head straight. A little smile stayed on his lips as he spoke "Everything in due time" Was all he said.

The day went on and the evening soon approaced. As they began to reach the outside of the capital lanterns hung from low trees lighting the pathway. As the trees around them began to grow thicker the path began to get smaller. Then with a step the path changed and soon they were climbing stairs craved from the trees. Leading up and winding through the great redwoods until they opened to a large ledge. Wooden rails and stairs lead down from each side to the village beyond.

Mizuki stopped and looked with a sad yet in awe face. The last time he had seen the capital was when he was no more then a child and even then it took his breath. Houses carved into trees and decks and ledges made of stone was the view. Green and brown with magical lanterns lighting the way it was a sight to see "Welcome everyone to Amoneithel" Destro said with a smile.

Destro then led the group from there through bridges and passages until they reached the largest redwood at the head of the village. "This is the great home tree. Our king and queen live in this red wood" Destro said before they headed up the large stairs.

At the top of the stairs two large wooden doors were carved with large arching trees. Guards stood on either side in full armor. As the group approached the two men moved and opened the large doors. Stepping inside they were met with nobles all around walking and talking, it seemed to be a busy place. "Please stay close" Destro said with a smile as he began to lead the way.

Walking through the people they were led to a larger room where the two noble thrones sat in place. "Please wait here your magiesty will be with you shortly" He said with a smile "After that I am sure we will meet again" He said glancing at Thalion with a smile before he turned and bowed to Mizuki before taking his leave.

Mizuki stood there slightly shaking to himself. This was all a little much for him. Yeah sure he had lived in a castle most his life under the eastern king but this was different. These were his people. Turning he looked to Thalion as the male came up to him "Tell me everything is going to be alright" He said getting that feeling back that something was off. "Tell me I am worrying for nothing" He said with a little sad smile.

Mizuki needed that reasurance. He had a bad feeling about this. Like something was about to ruin everything he had worked so hard for. It was something that he couldnt shake. Ever since the day Destro first came it lingered in the back of Mizukis mind. Looking to Thalion he gave a sad smile "I love you Thalion...dont forget that" He said lightly just loud enough for the other male to hear.

Though Thalion didnt get a chance to say anything as the double doors to the right of the throne opened and the queens royal guard stepped in. Fallowed by the queen herself. Smiling lightly to Thalion Mizuki turned before he bowed as low as he could.

Yes there was something he did not like about Destro. He was rather good at reading people but maybe he was wrong? Heck it wasn't abnormal for wood elves to hate dark elves. After a war that brought out between the two races that was almost expected. Still... there was something and Destro was hiding it till the end it seemed.

After Destro left and Mizuki spoke to him he sighed a little. "Can I say it and you believe it even if I don't?" Least he was honest. Though he hated to be at the moment. "Things will work out I'm sure.. they always do heh." Or so he hoped. Why did he feel like this time wasn't going to be so simple?

Though after a moment he shrugged a little. "Eh I'm sure its nothing, your just uneasy being back here is all." This time with a bit more confidence that he really meant that. Mizuki needed to relax so this was the best way he could help at the moment. Either way he nodded letting Mizuki know he heard him though he didn't get the chance to say the words back as the doors opened.

Ok now he felt very uneasy. The last time the two races royals were in the same room was a few days before the war started. Even if it was years before he was born it still left a uneasy feeling of him being here. Maybe he could be lucky and go unnoticed as to who he was. So long as Damien kept his mouth shut and thus far he had kept any milord comments to where only Thalion could hear them.

Great formalities... was Thalion's first thought before bowing about the same time Damien did. Thus another reason he hated being around nobles and royals. Too many gestures and things could be taken to mean something else far too easily in the process of it all.

Though he wasn't sure he wanted to be here. Really he didn't. He was here to support Mizuki and as soon as he had a chance to get away from here he would be gladly doing so. Besides maybe he was safe enough the reports were that the whole line of royal blood was cleared out in a single night. Then again it had been a few months ago when the rumors of one such survivor turning the capital inside out by appearing and gathering a force to oppose the tyrant king.

Mizuki stayed bowed until the guard told them to stand. Doing so he looked to the queen. Long white hair was dun up in swirls and bows around the females head. Jewels pinned in hair only leaving two long strands in the front to drape down her chest. Pointed ears stood proud with hopes and and chains. Light blue almost white eyes gazed out with a kindness as a light smile graced pale lips.

"Welcome welcome" The queen said with a little dip of her head. "It is my pleasure to meet with you at this time" The queen said. Her voice was soft and gentle never loud. "I am queen Nelletia" She said with a smile before moving and walking down the throne steps to the group. Gracefull movements led her to Mizuki first.

"Hmm I take it you are Mizuki Kinsaki?" Nelletia said and Mizuki bowed again "Indeed I am your magesty" He said before standing and looking at her again. "I am very pleased you came" She said with a smile "There are quite a few things that you need to do" She said with a smile "Your a very special young man" The queen said stepping back looking at him. "Forgive me Mi'lady but I am in no way special" Mizuki said with a little smile.

"Oh but you are" She said with a smile "You see the royal family here branches out" She said with a smile "Different noble families within our race are all branched from the main family" Nelletia said with a little nod of her head. "Alright well what dose that have to do with me?" Mizuki asked all though he had a feeling he knew what was going to be his answer.

"Our king is sick" Nelletia said with a sad frown "And we do not have an heir" She said with an even bigger frown as he proud ears took a dip. "So we had to search the records for the next in line" She said before looking to Mizuki "Your father was to be the next king though now he is dead and as such the line of power falls onto you" She said with a smile making Mizuki freeze.

What on earth...that meant that he was a noble...no he was more then a noble he was a royal. Mizukis pale face paled even more at these words but the queen still seemed to continue "As such an agreement between houses was stated many years ago but until recently there was no way to fill the agreement until now"

Mizuki froze even more. By the way the queen was speaking and from what he remembered about the houses of the high elven he knew what was coming "To be king you need a queen. Mizuki meet you arranged bride Sateeva" She said but that was the last Mizuki heard as he fell backwords and passed out.

This turned into a rather long winded conversation of the different lines and why she had called Mizuki here. The king of the wood elves being ill wasn't something he was counting on. Though as soon as it was mentioned Thalion already saw where this was going. Either Mizuki's family had some tie into this or they were really grasping at straws here.

As the queen went on it seemed to become more clear. Though the longer she went on explaining that Mizuki was to be next as king the paler Mizuki seemed to get. That wasn't a good sign. Though something dawned on him about that time as well... it seemed about the same time that it was brought up. To be king you needed to be married.

Though as soon as the last bit the queen had to say left her mouth Mizuki seemed to faint on the spot. Good thing he had been paying attention or they might not have a next in line king either if he had hit the floor. Well this was a unexpected turn of events though he wanted to find that damned bastard that brought them here.

Now for sure he knew that this information was being withheld. Mizuki would have never come here if he had known. Either way Mizuki was taken to a room till he woke up again. Though Thalion hardly could stay near him. The guards here were uneasy and almost looking for a excuse. The smarter move at the moment was to not give them one. Maybe if he actually did speak as to who he was then things might be different. But for now he was willing to take being a commoner and just some companion during Mizuki's travels.

He still never strayed too far though as he paced a little before Damien finally spoke up. "Mi'lord your going to wear a hold in the floor.. or burn this place down one or the other if you don-" "I'll calm down after I sock that guy in the jaw." He snapped a little before sighing and breathing out. Damien had a point. Things would never smooth out if he ended up burning the place down due to his magic being unstable at times.

Mizuki awoke with a start. Sitting up right he looked around though realized he was in a bedroom. Though that was not what had caught his eye. No it was the female sitting in the chair beside his bed "Oh...your awake" A soft shy yet chipper voice spoke up and Mizuki groaned as he rubbed his head "What on earth..." He began but the female spoke "You had fainted..." She said "A little to much information at once" She said with a little laugh.

Mizuki sighed a little as he dipped his head remembering the words of the queen. Then it came to him as to who the female was. Turning his head he actually looked at her. White hair was done in the same way of all nobles and the jewels and circlet on her head told Mizuki all he needed to know "So...your...um..." She smled lightly and nodded "Yes my name Symera and...your future wife" She said with a smile.

This was all to much for Mizuki to take in. "Im sorry this is all a little much for me" He spoke with a groan. Then his mind turned to Thalion and the others "Can you take me to the others..." Mizuki said looking at her but as she tilted her head he growled "The group I came here with..." He said and she smiled "Aw yes the two drows and the female" She said with a smile and Mizuki nodded.

Standing she took him to the double doors before leaving "Take Lord Mizuki here to his traveling partners" She said to a guard who stood there. Getting a yes mam she smiled before turned and looked at him "I shall be here when you return" Symera said before turning back and entering the room again. Mizuki didnt care though as the guard started on his way.

Mizuki fallowed and was led down a long hall and to a room at the end of it. There the guard stood "I will await your finish" He said and Mizuki growled. It would seem they were under watch for awhile. Opening the doors he stepped in and saw all three of them standing around. Mizuki couldnt help it and he knew he was going to hear about this later from Thalion but at the moment it was the only thing he wanted to do.

Starring past everyone he looked right to Thalion. As their eyes met Mizuki was already on the move and before anyone could say anything his arms were up and rapped around the male before him. He ignored everything that told him this was a bad idea at the moment he didnt care. His life had changed in a matter of moments...Mizuki needed this. He was shaking and upset, who wouldnt want a hug?

Thalion was still half stuck on his thoughts as he walked the room back and forth. He couldn't stand it! They were told to stay here and what for? They were being watched at all times and he half felt like he was being treated as some damned criminal. Plus on top of everything else and Mizuki being married off and he had no power to do anything.

He had let out a heavy sigh in frustration as Neimi glanced at Damien both of them pretty much expecting the worse when the doors opened again. Granted Damien was about as easy to read as a stone but still. He did not like this treatment either. Its not like they had done anything wrong and they were forced pretty much to avoid Mizuki.

Though after a while the doors did open and Mizuki walked through them. Thalion finally stopped his near about furious walk as Mizuki walked towards him. Though he wasn't expecting the other to hug him out of the blue like that. Actually with him doing so he felt a bit foolish in his thoughts of being so worked up when this was harder on Mizuki.

He hesitated a second but quickly got over it at a thought they might not have a say in how things went from here. Hugging the other in return as he moved a little at a few moments. "Was it that bad?" He tried to joke knowing the answer. Though he looked down a little after saying it.

"We'll ... think of something." What though?! What the hell could be done about this? Without a ruler the city would fall and Mizuki would never just let that happen. But in order for there to be a new ruler the current one had to be married. There was just no way around it was there...

Though Mizuki still seemed to be holding onto him for dear life almost. "Hey.. relax. I'm not going anywhere. Even if I have to kick every guards ass just to stay here I'll do it." He was half tempted to put a few in their place as it was anyway.

Mizuki at that moment didnt care who was watching or who was in the room. The only thought that he had was that he wanted Thalion. He stayed there even as the male spoke just hugging him with his head nuzzled deep into a dark neck. As Thalion continued to speak Mizuki wanted to beleive everything that the male said. Oh how he wanted to believe it but he couldnt help but to tighten his arms around Thalion.

This was when Thalion spoke "Hey.. relax. I'm not going anywhere. Even if I have to kick every guards ass just to stay here I'll do it." Even though the words were needed Mizuki knew that if it came down to it Thalion would not have that much of a say in things. One heck even the four of them couldnt take down the entire royal army and Mizuki knew that even if he didnt want to.

"I knew something was wrong" He said into a dark neck "I...I dont know what to do Thalion" He said as he gave a little whimper. Mizuki held onto Thalion as if he was dieing. He couldnt go through with this. There was so much that was wrong with this picture and so much that made sence. All in all Mizuki was lost.

His ears dropped back a little hearing Mizuki say he didn't know what to do. Hell he didn't either to be honest with himself. He wanted to say everything would be fine or things would work out but nothing that he thought of would make them work out. He hated this... he held no power here, hell he had no real power anywhere. But here least of any place.

"Don't... I knew something was wrong I was foolish to think otherwise" He said growling at the thought of that damned mage that brought them here. "We'll figure something out I promise." Neimi had moved a little before she spoke up. "There isn't a loop hole in the system? There has to be at least one." Though not any she could think of.

"tsk I swear if I see that damned mage I'll ..." He sighed before finishing that knowing it wouldn't help anything. "We're not leaving you here. And you're not getting married... I don't know how we'll pull that off just yet but damn it just trust me when I say its not happening." He wasn't going to lose the one person he cared about... not here. Not when things were starting to work out.

"What now mi'lords?" Damien questioned to break the sudden silence. "Tsk... We're stuck until we figure something out that's what." Thalion hissed a little at the thought that they may have no say in this. "Not unless you have any bright ideas or hell at this rate I'd settle for a fix it spell." Though that was an impossible thought. A so called spell would have to switch race and gender for it to even be close to an idea. Even then it wouldn't probably count towards anything.

What kind of kingdom had no heirs anyway. As far as he knew the wood elf rulers had not changed in quite sometime. Plenty to plan a child or some other plan to have a trained ruler. "Heh just think if you had stayed with the human king you wouldn't have to go through this." Though at the same time they wouldn't be together either.

They needed a plan, either some way of keeping Mizuki from that woman he was to marry or some means to sneak him out of the city. Granted right now all he wanted to do was track down Destro and give him a damned beating he wouldn't soon forget. But that meant he'd have to leave Mizuki and he didn't want to right this moment.

After a little longer Thalion sighed finally knowing that they were going to be stuck here. "If you're going to be their next king maybe you should start by speaking up now as far as keeping your companions locked in a room like convicts." He had a good point really. Though he doubted that Mizuki had any say in that or that they would take his word for anything until after the.. He didn't want to say wedding because then that means he had lost Mizuki.

"Do we even know when they plan this little joining that they every so kindly forgot to mention to you?" Maybe if they had a few days... maybe they could come up with a plan of some kind. Though if they planned to do things right away it could be today or tomorrow. That wouldn't really allow much time for any plan at all. "Ugh.. and you wonder why I don't want to rule Damien? Well here is a damned good example of why." Damien took the point Thalion was trying to get across though each race was different in what you needed in order to rule. Drow were based off of who was the strongest really.

"If we have a few days mi'lord maybe we can get further information on this." "Yeah .. and how do you propose we go about that when they are watching our every move and don't let us out of this room?" Though he knew where that was going as Damien smiled a bit at Thalion's question. "I hate you at times.. no I take that back. All the time." It was a idea, right now they were being treated as commoners and even if Mizuki had no say in how things went they could hardly just hold captive another royal line without risking a fight of some kind.

Though this being said Thalion was hopeful that Mizuki could just get them some freedom to get out of this room instead of him having to go that route of pulling his bloodline into this mess. He could see that going one of two ways. One they stopped treating them like criminals, or the other they'd end up in a holding cell instead of just a guarded room. Either way any plans like this were kept to lower voice tones to keep from the guards being able to pass on any information.

Though the planning of what or how much time they might have came to a end when the doors opened again. Just to save any further trouble for now Thalion briefly kissed Mizuki before stepping back a bit so by the time the heavy doors were fully open it looked like the small group had been just standing there. Though there was a slight hint of pain hidden on Thalion's face. To think that they could lose this time, that might be the last kiss he ever gets to give the other or something... He didn't want to think that way but it could very well be true.

Aside from sneaking Mizuki out of here what could they really do? Even if Mizuki said no something told him that they would just force it somehow. That or if they were really desperate they'd take them hostage just to ensure that he agreed to whatever they said. Ok maybe not that far these were Wood Elves they were dealing with and not Drow. Though they could be underhanded in things as well... Any way around this would require some way for the marriage to be void. Though there weren't too many ways that could happen.

Mizuki stood there in Thalions arms as he listened to the male speak. At the mention of a fix it spell he couldnt help but smirk. Aw yes there were such spells though it usually only did one of the two and combining them was just asking for an issue to come up. No that idea was a little to risky even for him and at this moment Mizuki was ready to try almost anything.

Mizuki sighed as Thalion mentioned the king. It was true if he was still under the kings rule he wouldnt have to be going through this at the current moment in time. Though at the same time if he had stayed with the king god only knew what he would be doing or where he would be right now. The thought of Thalion being dead if he was still with the king made his ears dip even lower if that was even possible at the moment.

Mizuki knew that Thalion had a point. If the group was to stay there they couldnt really be held in a room like this but at the same time he wanted nothing to do with the role of a king. Though to get them out of the room he would have to do something like an order to get them out and he knew that. It was something he had thought of through destested.

At the question of the wedding Mizuki growled and shook his head. "No...there has been no mention on anything" He said "Heck a little while ago was the first of I heard of any of this!" He said in a little whimper as he still held onto Thalion, speaking into the males neck.

As Thalion and Damien spoke he shook his head pulling back some so he could look at Thalion "No you cant do that" He said lightly "Its bad enough your here in their grasp" Mizuki said with a sigh "To tell them of your background would be asking to spend the time here or more in a cell" Mizuki said looking to Thalion "And you know that as well as I" He said with a nod of his head.

Though the conversation seemed to end there as the double doors began to open. Mizuki felt the brush of a kiss as Thalion took a few steps back before the double doors fully opened. Looking to Thalion he noticed the pain flash in the males face for it matched his own. Yes it would seem that they had a real problem on their hands.

"Mi'lord..." Mizuki heard behind him and he knew that voice from before. Turning he saw the female that he had first seen when he awoke in the room "The queen requests your pressance" She said giving a little smile as she looked around the room. Mizuki growled a little "The only way I will agree to this is if my people here" He said looking at the three of them "Are no longer treated like prisoners" He said with a glare.

Symera gave a little nod at this "Yes Mi'lord" She said with a smile "After the meeting you have with the queen it would be time to retire for the night" She said lightly "Tomorrow I am sure free range of the capital could be set into place" Symera said with a little tilt of her head "For this evening however I regret to inform you that the group must stay within the room" She said with a little frown.

Mizuki growled as he fully turned to her "Alright maybe then you can tell me why they are being treated like dogs and not quests?" He said to her and this earned a small smile as she closed her eyes "Not dogs sir" She said lightly "...drows..." was her response and Mizuki turned to look at Thalion but the look on the males face said enough. To save any more issues Mizuki turned back to Symera and sighed a little before standing tall.

"Fine" He said shortly. If there was nothing he could do until he talked to the queen so be it. "See to it that they get food" He said before giving Thalion a look before he fallowed the female out of the room. Mizuki had some things that he was going to bring up to the queen and so help him she better agree to everything he said or wanted or the entire capital was going to feel his wrath.

The meeting was long and dreadfull but at least he got what he had wanted. Speaking with the queen about everything it took awhile before he got what he had wanted. Though the next day everything began to fall into place.

It started early morning as a group of mages showed at his room. Taking them with him the guard once again took him to the room where the group was held. Mizuki was in a foul mood at the moment and a glare was the only thing on his features as his light lavender eyes darkened with each step.

Reaching the room the double doors were opened and he was greated with the small group of three. Walking in he turned to the first mage. Taking the female over to Neimi he smiled "Neimi this is Zander...he is the capitals number one healing mage" He said "He is to teach you everything you can learn in the amount of time we have" He said lightly.

The next man he had with him was taken to Damien. "Damien...this male is the leader of the royal army" He said lightly "Everything in hand to hand will be taught by him and learned by you" He said looking at him though when he was about to disagree Mizuki growled "Its not a request its an order" He said getting a 'yes Mi'lord' from the male making his face even darker.

The last mage moved with him as he took him to Thalion. Giving the male a sad small smile it was soon off his lips as he spoke "Thalion this is Demeatry" He said "He will teach you everything that is needed about fire magic" He said "As well elvish blacksmithing" He said with a nod.

Stepping back he looked at the people in the room "Your training starts now" He said looking at them all "In order for myself to be a king I need a guard that can act like it" He said looking to them "And as such you three shall be just that" He said with a nod of his head "Learn...take the chance and do what you can in the time given" He said lightly with a little frown.

Mizuki knew that Thalion was going to protest the fire magic training but in order to get the group out of the room Mizuki had to convince the queen that they were his guard and as such the queen demanded that they be trained to be just that. "Learn and do it fast..." He said looking only to Thalion at that moment.

Mizuki couldnt stand there and tell the group on what the queen had said to him the other night. No not with the ears that seemed to be around him. Instead he could only play the part and that was what he was doing. Though he tried to give little hints here and there for the group. Well at least he tried to do just that.

The queen had given the order for Mizuki to wed within a couple months time. It made everything all the more urgent to him. Looking at the group one last time Mizuki turned on his heel and left the room. He had his own training to do and not only that but research. He needed away out of this contract that he seemed to be in.

"Tsk tell them of my background maybe I'll threaten to burn this tree of theirs to the ground too if they try a damned cell.." Though he knew that bringing up blood lines was a risky thing and right now he had no backing of a city either so to do that would be foolish anyway. More or less it was just trying to get ideas out and none of them seemed to be worth while.

Oh for the love of... he swore in his mind at the mention of their race. Least they could let Neimi go about whatever she wanted she was a mere human girl. Granted he knew she was safer in here then to just be walking about anyway. Though he bite his tongue from saying what eh though of Wood Elves about this moment. Saying anything would not make things any better. Aside form that if they had wanted to cause trouble then it would have happened already, seeing as they seemed to think they knew Drows well enough.

Once Mizuki left the room Thalion huffed a little having held his tongue for that long without giving anyone a part of his thoughts was hard to do. "Tsk the lot of them damned daft in the brains!" He finally said before Neimi laughed a little. "its true and you know it." He said folding his arms. If they were going to cause trouble they would have a army hidden somewhere and in wait for nightfall. Holding them here would solve nothing.

"Tsk I half want to go fix the issue in our own city just to come back here for a peace talk and wipe the damned grin off their faces..." Though he wasn't being serious in that but it did amuse him none the less. Though he still wanted nothing better then just to punch that one mage. That alone would make his week a hell of a lot better but that would have to wait.

The next day seemed to finally come, of course without much sleep as guards kept making sure they were still in the room... like they had gone somewhere. There was no windows and unless they blasted through the wall it wasn't like they could walk through a door. Though the next day also brought Mizuki and his 'orders' so to speak of how he was getting them out of this room.

Well being a guard was a upgrade from room captive at the least though not under terms he would have liked. Neimi was the main one seeming thrilled about this. Though why not she practiced daily to get better but you could only do so much. Damien never really displayed many emotions at all unless times called for it so it was hard to tell if he was pleased with this or annoyed.

Thalion was another story. The idea of training smiting was fine, the fire magic could go somewhere for various reasons. One Damien almost caught himself on mentioning but seemed to stop right before speaking. He wanted to fight this tooth and nail but he'd have to do this to get out of here and making things harder on Mizuki wouldn't help them in the least. So after a moment he finally spoke. "Fine.. " Though as far as smithing went he might end up teaching this one a thing or two. They might have the better smiths but so far he hadn't heard of many being able to craft armor useful against magic.

Maybe swapping information would distract him from actually teaching much on the fire magic. The last thing he really wanted out was the fact that he barely had control on it. Plus if they did a bit of digging there was only one family that had true fire magic in the Drows anymore. Thats what worried him the most, though they seemed too busy with Mizuki to look into that thankfully.

Free time was almost unheard of after that day. It probably was driving Damien nuts to have Thalion out of his sights for nearly a full day at a time. Though what was bugging Thalion was he never got to see Mizuki at all. The other seemed to just up and vanish. Sure he knew he had training but still... To go from everyday being with him to this.. and this was just a taste of what was to come if the wedding took place.

It had been a few weeks into the training, Mizuki did manage to get word to the group that the wedding was to be in a month and a half from now. They were running out of time and had no free time to really look into things. Though for the moment Thalion had a small break. Apparently something came up so Demeatry was busy for a few hours. That was fine by him. It was a welcome break and he feared sooner or later someone was going to find out his little secret he was holding onto. If things were hectic right now it might already be out.

Heck by this point he almost wanted to say he missed having Damien around. Though the older knight was annoying at times least he listened and gave feedback. Thalion had ended up walking down to were a small pool of water was collected in the center of a slightly overgrown grove. Getting back ought to be fun he got lost in this place almost commonly still.

sitting by it he was glad this seemed to be a section no one else was in or not many passed by as he leaned forward resting his head on his arms that were on his knees. "Ugh.. what the hell do I do?" He finally said aloud just to kill some of the frustration that he had. Though he wasn't expecting a answer.. but he was going to get one.

"Giving up then?" Someone asked as Thalion's ears twitched at the voice and he jumped up with a blade in his hand already. "You.... wha.. -" He started to try to explain this before the figure answered him. Oh this would look odd though he had no idea the properties of certain locations area this area. This was one of the forgotten spirit pools, there was a larger one in the main square of the town so this ones upkeep fell behind.

"Too many questions and you can't get them out? Sounds about like you." The figure spoke again standing just as he would have been if he were still alive. Before any of the events that took place. "To answer you no I'm not alive but I've been waiting to contact you for some time. Your still as slow as ever as well." Spoke Zeffren, also known as the former King of the Drow or another title was one of the most feared fire mages known to live. Least during his life. The wood elves held the most powerful for quite a few fields of magic but the Drow held it for other more darker forces.

After that day things seemed to never stop for Mizuki. Training was something that took up alot of his time. He didnt sleep or rest for if he did he would have to of share that room with the female that was to be his wife. That thought drove Mizuki mad. He didnt want a wife or to be king...all he wanted was to live out his days with the man he loved and maybe some day marry that man. That thought was what kept him moving most days.

As the group stayed the time ticked on and hours turned into days and those days soon turned into weeks. Two weeks into the training Mizuki had managed to find out the wedding date. A month and a half from that day...that really didnt give them alot of time. So it was all Mizuki could do to give the group this message.

All the training be damned in the moments he was not forced to learn the spells he read the tombs and everything he could get his hands on about the kings of lore from the royal library. He was searching for something anything that would get him out of this. Though there was nothing to be found. Not unless either he died or she the same but that was something that wouldnt happen. All the information was not doing anything for him.

That was not until three weeks in when he found some more information. It was of the rules of conduct for the arranged marriage of the king and queen to be. Mizuki sat there as he read over everything. The tomb had everything from how the marriage was arranged to what they would wear on the day they wed. Though this was nothing he needed! Mizuki growled at the book "Give me something...anything..." He said pleading to any god that would listen.

This was when Mizuki turned the page. The last page in the tomb but it was the page he had been waiting for. "Things that will mellenvoid the contract" was the title of the page and Mizuki smiled. "Finally some luck..." He said lightly as he began to read the page over. Though there was nothing that would help...until he read the last quote...

'If he or she of royal blood breaks the bond of prewed bliss by sleeping or bedding with another the contract and all worth becomes powerless if the spouse of the cheater wishes it so'

That was an interesting tidbit...but at the same time the thought came to him of how he was going to get his bride to be Symera to cheat on him. That was when his ears dipped back as he thought of it. The female hardly left his side and when she did she had studies and training of her own. So with that the thought went right out the window.

Rubbing his eyes he closed the tomb before he sighed and stood from his spot. Cracking his neck he moved around the table and began to leave the room though he paused a moment on his way as he peered into a mirror on the wall. His eyes were dull and sunken in leaving large dark bags on pale skin. Such was the face of a king to be he guessed.

The elven had alot of things they liked to keep a tradition of and this was one of them. He trained and trained and trained and when he was done with that he meditated or read. There was no sleep or actual rest his mind was constantly going.

Sighing he left the study and began to walk for the one place he was aloud to sit and relax. The home tree had many things it liked to keep from the view of people. One of them were spirit pools. A pool of clear pure water that was to be a pathway from this world to the next or vice versa. The first time Mizuki found the pool he meerly sat there in the cool area and meditated free of everyone.

Mizuki never had an experiance that some claim to have. No it was just a place that brought peace to him in this time of need. So with that thought he headed from the study to the pool on slow moving feet.

Thalion all but stiffened as the male before him spoke. He hadn't seen him from when he was a young child, very young. Maybe the last time he recalled seeing him was when he was four or five? But everyone said he was going mad at the time or something. He didn't understand back then and he still acted normal to him till the day he just vanished and everyone said he had been killed or died or the other random stories they made up.

"Why? Why bother to contact me now after all these years. Hell you walked off and left." Thalion snapped at the spirit who seemed unmoved by the sudden rage in Thalion's voice. "It takes time to appear like this let alone speak... and if I had appeared sooner would you have listened?" Zaffren had a point. No he probably would have looked the other way and never would have bothered even yelling at him.

"The rumors were true you know, I did end up killing myself. Before you say anything there were reasons and ones that you know well." Thalion huffed a bit standing there. "Why tell me? Theres no fix for it and it'll happen sooner or later -" "There is a fix."

Thats when Thalion stopped for a moment watching the other. "Why didn't you do it then?! You left us all to die. Everything went to hell after you left the capital fell and-" "And if I had stayed nothing would change." Thalion glared at his former father before speaking again. "Change? What the hell has changed? The city is still run by a tyrant who wants nothing better then to see everyone who opposes her dead. nothing has changed. It got worse."

"Nothing had changed yet..." He started before explaining what he meant. "Things will change. If I had stayed and that night the raid was halted you would have been raised in the city and you would not be here right now. You know very well where you would have been by this age." Thalion looked way from Zaffren for a moment knowing he had a point.

"I spoke with a number of seer's before I made my choice to leave. I knew how many would die that night and that you were not going to be one of them. Someday you would have to go back and see what things were. It's been weighing heavily on your mind even if you try to keep such thoughts to yourself." Thalion seemed to stay quiet as the other went on explaining all of this.

"That still doesn't tell me what the cure is or what stops the damned curse." Zaffren smiled a bit at the mention of it. "You heard a voice the last time you were in the city... I think you know what that voice was. I also think I don't need to say more." Thalion shook his head at the thought of it. "You can't be serious, if thats all it took was a bonding process then-" "It would have been done years ago? Yes and no, the bonding process requires the egg to choose its owner. Most royals did not have the will that the eggs sought."

Thalion cursed under his breath at the idea of it. "Well that sucks!" He finally said. "The vault is in the castle... Besides that even if this worked that still changes nothing." Zaffren shook his head a little. "You'll have to see now won't you?" "Tsk.. you and your riddles... "

Though hearing the footsteps get ever closer seemed to cut this meeting to a end as Zaffren spoke once more. "don't give up, you chose the path before you so follow it." Though Thalion half ignored whoever was walking this way as he cursed the spirit once more. "To hell with your advice!" Though about that time he turned and stopped where he was seeing Mizuki was who had been walking.

It was almost strange to see the other after three weeks of not being allowed near him. He had such doubting thoughts like what they had could be replaced and what if they failed. He wasn't even sure that he could bring himself to move at the moment with his mind all over the place. Between what he just found out and everything else going on. He just wanted things to be normal again.

Mizuki had kept his words to himself as he walked the halls to the back garden. Even as others addressed him he just nodded and kept moving. His foot falls soon fell on the pathway that was needed to lead him to the pool. Mizuki was thinking alot about what the tomb had said. Half of his mind wanted to go and tell the queen that the contract was void along time ago. Then the other half begged him not to in fears of what would happen to Thalion.

Mizuki sighed as he rounded a corner and continued to walk. There was so many things that he wanted to change. He wanted nothing more then to go just go back in time before any of this happened. If he could he would of killed that prick that brought him here when he had the chance to. If only he had slit that pale throat and taken his first life. That thought along with many clouded his mind.

Turning another bend he looked up as he began to hear a voice. Mizuki was thinking if he should turn around and leave his for another time though as he got closer the sound of the voice became one that he knew. Coming to the clearing Mizuki stopped as his thoughts were right.

Before him stood Thalion catching the male just as he turned. Though both of them stopped and stood there just staring at each other. Mizuki knew the thoughts going through both of their minds. If what they were seeing was actually the other male infront of him or if it was a dream the mind decided to give.

Blinking Mizuki took a step closer as the image didnt leave "Thalion..." He said lightly to the male and as the pissed expression of Thalion left Mizuki moved. All but jumping on the male Mizuki rapped his arms around Thalion as he hid his head in the males neck. Mizuki was glad as there was no hesitation form Thalion as those arms rapped around him just as fast.

Mizuki held on for dear life as he just stood there hugging the male before him. It had been three weeks since he had last seen the male and it tore at his heart. Pulling back Mizuki looked into those ember orbs before he closed the distance and kissed the male. He could care less who came at this moment. The thought of the kiss had been something Mizuki had wanted to do for the longest time. He now had the moment to do it so thats what he did.

He was almost thinking that neither of them were going to move. That or he had really lost it finally and he was seeing things. It was possible with the stress on his mind for this long of a period. He had been trying daily to figure some way to get all of this to just go away or go in their favor.

Though after a moment Mizuki spoke was when he was certain it wasn't him going crazy.. well then again the last image spoke as well. But still! After a second Mizuki moved and nearly tackled him in a hug. Though he was glad one of them moved finally as he hugged the other in return. Both sides not wanting to let go.

Mizuki hardly looked well though he probably didn't look much better as he had been trying to figure out anything. Something to help Mizuki but nothing that was logical came to light. Kissing the other in return he wanted nothing more then to just hold Mizuki there and keep him there. Though he knew this would not last long and sooner or later someone would come looking for Mizuki.

"By the goddess I missed you... I swear if it weren't for the fact I keep thinking something will go right I might have slaughtered a few dozen of the damned guards here." He said before kissing him again still holding him close. Though if someone came around this area he might get his wish on that.

"Mizuki.. " He started before looking down and shaking his head a little. "I'm failing heh... I've tried everything that I could think of and .. " He stopped holding onto the other tighter. "I'm not going to lose you... I can't the past few weeks have been a nightmare and one that I know is real."

The grip was tight but Mizuki would have it no other way. He needed to know the male was before him and that he was not having a dream like he had before. Often he would come from meditation with Thalions face burned into the back of his mind. He thought it was a dream that would vanish if he let go so all he could do was hold tighter.

The kiss was long and heated both parties needing the contact. It was not until the need for air came that they broke apart and even then their arms never moved as they held each other. This was when Mizuki looked right into Thalions eyes as the male spoke "By the goddess I missed you... I swear if it weren't for the fact I keep thinking something will go right I might have slaughtered a few dozen of the damned guards here."

Mizuki almost laughed at that. He knew of Thalions temper and he was shocked that there had been no reports of the male attacking some one. That was weird to Mizuki but at the same time he knew it would put things to a hault around them. Though that was only a fleeting thought in his mind. No the main thing was the fact that Thalion had told him he was missed. It pained and yet filled his heart with joy at the same time but he didnt have time to think on it as he was pulled into another kiss.

After the kiss ended Mizuki listened to Thalion as he spoke saying that he was failing. The hurt and pain in the males voice made his ears dip back and his face became sad "You are not failing..you could never fail me" He said with a little smile. This was when Thalion continued to speak and Mizuki shook his head a little. "You will never loose me" He said lightly "I will fight the gods themselves if need be" He said before giving Thalion another kiss.

After a moment or to he pulled back again "I have searched and searched tomb and scrolls alike" He said "The only way out of this is to either die or adultery" He said with a frown "And neither of those are going to happen" He said "All though I have half a mind to go to that bitch and tell her that contract was broken along time ago" He said with a little wiggle of his hips and a soft smile to Thalion.

"Heh.. you might need to." He said with a weak laugh as Mizuki said he would fight the gods. At the rate they were going it seemed the higher beings were against them at every turn. Nothing seemed to go right for them. Right when things went right things went and did a turn for the worse.

Though when Mizuki spoke again of the ways that they could get out of this it was hardly reassuring. "Yeah... your not allowed to die... I think I'd just kill half the guards here for the damn hell they keep putting us through just to get places." The other was very unlikely though he did smirk a little as Mizuki said he was tempted to tell her that had been done a while ago.

Kissing Mizuki again he moved a little before biting his lip lightly and whispering near his ear soon after. "Now... we both know your innocent you've not done a thing before." He teased a little moving a hand to Mizuki's hip and resting it there for a moment before biting his ear lightly.

The last thing they needed was for a mark to be on him and the Queen have a excuse to think that 'Drow', as she seemed to refuse to use names, were behind it. After a moment he moved a little before pushing Mizuki against a tree that was near as he moved from his ear down to his neck kissing it lightly. His other hand moving to the front of Mizuki's robes before moving them enough so he could rest a hand against skin. "Surprised they let their future king run around in something that can come off so easily.."
