Exactly. I don't want there to be something wrong, but if there is ~ and it's serious ~ not getting it looked at can make it worse then it'll all end up with getting your leg chopped off, when if you would have gone to the doc in the first place everything would have been fine.

Well.....yes. In the US, they can't turn you away even if you can't pay/don't have insurance. It's due to Medicaid if I remember right.
