I've managed to clean out and replace parts on a computer and laptop before....just.....smaller electronics like in mice can be picky...especially the lens.

*face-palms* I didn't lick it....I swear! *looks innocent* Only cleaned it off with a cu-tip at first. Then tried to refinish the surface and that's where the problem came in....heh....

Refinish the surface? of the mouse?

Of the lens which the laser uses to refract and read movement.

How exactly do you refinish a lens surface? I just can't imagine that turning out well.

It has to do with lasers. It has a VERY young Val Kilmer. It's a great little 80's movie if you get the chance. <3 I wuvs it.

I was trying to rough it up a bit then smooth it back out. Didn't quite have the proper tools so improvised and....yeah....>.>....it's touchy unless you do it right....and I've never actually done it completely, just to fix a minor scratch or so.

It's a cheesy 80's flick. If you don't like those types of movies then I'd skip it. <3 lolz!

I don't mind them. Can't say I've really loved any of them. Like I said, will look it up and see.

*shrugs* Unless it's on certain topics, I tend to think that I'll try food, movies, music, etc. at least once....generally...there are exceptions to the rule.

I personally don't like war movies. They just don't ~ *shrug* do it for me? Maybe I died in a war in a past life or something.

I enjoy them from certain aspects...but in others its just..."That's so wrong! There is no way that could happen in the real world!"
