That cop is a dick. You don't pull buses over for children not wearing seatbelts, so why pull over a taxi for passengers who don't wear seatbelts? I think your cop might have been a noobie who doesn't know all the laws of the state, and trying to meet his ticket quota even if the tickets are uncalled for.

Apparently the driver was going 61mph.. which is a lie because we were going the same speed as the car in front of us and it was slow.. ._.,

The cop might also be stupid. It's possible the cop was accelerating to catch up and saw his own acceleration speed rather than the actual speed of the cars in front of him. See, doesn't really take much to be a cop, now does it xD

I think cops who don't apply the laws correctly, just basing their actions on their own viewpoints and wants, should be fired from their jobs since they're unsuitable to do their jobs as they should be done. I wouldn't want a cop like that around. If he sees a black guy being mauled by a group, he wouldn't do anything to protect that individual just because he thinks the black guy instigated the situation, for example. That's wrong.

Though I think that there is a huge amount of people in your area who still live in a closet. I doubt there are a huge chunk who care about world news or other cultures.
