Coffee was hot, but I didn't give it tome to cook like that. I may have been tired, but not that tired. I dumped it, washed my cup out then re-poured my coffee. I was more careful where I dropped the insides of my egg the second time.

I've also poured creamer in my hot cereal instead of my coffee. Let me tell you, that woke me up....and it was nasty.

so asami, i have been meaning to ask, how much gen-one playing have you done on pokemon?

I think ive played red blue & yellow at least 5 times each( possibly more. Idk I dedicated a lot of my childhood to those games)
And I guess if you count leaf green & fire red....
Hell those are some of my favorite games. Fire red man <3 played that at least 6 times and I played leaf green 3 times now. (Current nuzelocke challenge is in leaf green)

I guess I get so fired up about people hating on the new games because I /used/ to be like that.
I used to scoff at the icecream pokemon(tech isn't even icecream bros. Read up on that shit) until I actually gave it a chance and learned it was pretty much a great. Ice type pokemon. (Has the highest Stat of any non legendary ice pokemon tying with lapras. Need I say more?)
I used to blindly hate gen 5 for things I didn't even understand. I was so naive.

Then I gave it a chance and learned.
Omg. Its just like all the other pokemon games. Except better!! More moves. More abilities. More EVERYTHING! so much fun.
I mean if you actually give it a chance and you still hate it. Ill accept that its just not for you
but if you don't even try. And blindly hate it based on others opinions and what you think based off looks then I wont take what you have to say seriously. I will just think 'oh another gen wunner who doesn't know what they are talking about' and dismiss it. (While also backing up the games)

And a lot of your reasons to hate thr game apply to gen one as well. So you really /cant/ use those reasons at all.

Oj, Lord of the flies? When a long time since I read that book. I didn't really care for it. But I had to read it for a class. I'm more the Lord of the Rings type.

Lol, only real relation they have is "Lord of the" but yeah I like both. Love LOTR much more though, for a much longer time. My sister has a ton of cool merch for it; complete Pez set with all the characters, weapons and armor encyclopedia, a lil elf broach. She's obsessed.

That stuff is pretty easy to get obsessed about. There's a lady I know who ordered all that replica stuff from a special LoTR magazine...like one of the dresses Arwen wore along with the elfin jewelry. She even got ear made. She was ready for Comic Con for sure.
