i 'lost' a lantern when i had no lanterns

also, my next tthree lanterns were a light out too, so i lost four lights in a row i did not have to begin with XD

You aren't the only one who's had the problems with the lanterns Choco, another user also had a stream of bad lanterns.

Yeah Coda is looking in to it as we speak, we may need to adjust the values.

It's just a plain old random number generator. Unlucky streaks happen -- so do lucky streaks. In fact, if streaks DIDN'T happen, it wouldn't be a random number generator!

I actually acknowledged the possibility of having them go out even if you're at 0; you'll notice you don't go negative.

i noticed, i also noticed i am doing two to three lights out for every light i get, i had to actually trade with my mule one light at a time all day to get 20 lights with about half of my day spent refreshing and posting

... huh, that's actually exactly the OPPOSITE ratio you're supposed to be getting.

Maybe I did mess something up. Let me check.

i also heard from two other members that the more lights they had the better their chances for getting more lights were, not sure if that helps


i also wanted clarification, are there actually possible light grants for posting? i have yet to have anyone say they got a grant for posting

Okay, so I've made two changes.

One, I fixed a bug that was keeping the post rewards from working. (Oops! Sorry!)

Two, I added some rate limiting that should help prevent bad luck streaks. I won't go into the exact details (gotta keep you guessing!) but you shouldn't see two negatives in a row if you're actively playing.
