I usually do so when they're not my friends. Bluuuugh. I mean, everyone else is fine with it; it's just this /one guy/ who auuuuugh.

Also, someone brought up families and upbringings -- Mine never cared about the whole LGBT stuff; maybe because it's very very not-prevalent in Taiwan, and my parents just don't really care about it having grown up there. I think my mom's probably more accepting; she's more accepting of most other things than my dad. My dad....uh.......

....is...yeah. I mean, he's not /extremely/ bigoted; it's just certain things he feels strongly about that I won't talk about here. And he's stubborn even when I joking brought up "Hey, I sometimes feel like I should be the opposite gender" and then he gets a bit peeved and /because/ he's peeved my mom kind of just goes along with it and then they both tell me to stick to my birth sex.

-grumbles-

Eh...whatever. They can think whatever the hell they want about my friends. I love them for reasons besides that, and while that's always going to be a sore point, I really don't have the time to spend/waste trying to convince them otherwise.

Well, maybe I'm optimistic but the way society is now compared to 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago; it has changed. So in the future, all this terrible crap will be gone for the most part and the norm would be acceptance. @__@
I hope so, at least.


On an unrelated note, I'm a major band nerd because I'm eargasming to the GW2 theme song because I imagine being in the orchestra playing it and HHHNNNNGGG

I'm one of those people that believe in a max of three categories of gender
Male, female, wanting to transition to one or the other.

I mean if someone says they're another thing, unless it is in a thread discussing what people think of it, I'll be like okay. It's not something I think is worth fighting over unless they're being a dick about for some reason...like how some of -insert group here- think they're better than everyone else because of that. If they're not doing that, I don't care too much.
