I do for some classes. Others I have a laptop for notes, and scroll through tumblr.

I usually record my lectures so I can listen to them at a later time again. This way I can just pay attention to the professor. P:

Wouldn't paying attention to the professor mean listening to the lectures? Or is that for taking notes later on?
