I've never heard of Ashes of Eternal Nox. O: I was on staff before this site officially opened but I don't think I ever saw that mentioned. Maybe someone else would know better than me though. xD

Solia was my go to Avatar site starting August 2008 for like a year and a half. I loved the avis but something about that site rubs me the wrong way. I went back a few months ago to give away all my Gold and it was SO HARD. I don't know why. I could not find anyone online active long enough to take it.

If I had been active then, I would've taken it XD

It took me like 3 days but I found someone to give it to. It was almost 1 million gold.

Was never super active but I loved the freedom of the avatars, they worked the same way Tris's do if memory serves me. It was the first site I was on that you could layer hairstyles and it made me so happy.

My username is the same there as it is here. xD What about you? I mostly hung out in the Exchange.

Midorea came out of Nox and Nox was owed by two former Zantarni users, Ebbe and a her husband Jarl, both of which have since moved on from avatar sites. Midorea was indeed created by an old staff member of theirs though.

I just ended up joining alot of avatar sites at the right time? Weirdly enough alot of these sites branched off from Zantarni, Mene, Nox, Mid to an extent, Malthea, if Haru and Poet ever open it mind you.

I've joined almost all of the ones that have ever opened and I've worked as an artist for a few of the smaller ones.

I don't foresee myself working for an avatar site again because of how hard I got burned by Solia.

BI I still have no idea what Solia is to be honest guys, I never joined it, it was after my time for the most part.

It's still here and turning into the next Gaia.

Nexuss, I really wish I had your timing. Instead, I am keeping an eye out for the next generation of such things.

I got in on the first week or so of a lot of the older sites, but I'm losing tuch with the newer ones. : (
