He personally met battle!Jesus in the days before Armageddon, is where he got the Scepter.

You're the only one who can really answer that. On one hand, he's the one responsible for Thomas and others like him, on the other hand, he himself has no cybernetics and is quite genuinely a pious and devout man, incredibly so. He's a very harsh leader, as he needs to be, but he's quite capable of mercy and forgiveness (toward humans. Others need not apply). Also generally not so much of an intolerant, bigoted, murderous fanatic as Thomas is. And he's quite renowned for his miracles of healing.

Plus the whole helping not let humans go extinct thing. And making sure his people actually have what they need to survive (unless they're like some of our rebel little shits and, for some reason, refuse to use what's available to them...)

Na'lsa was a demon of Gluttony from the last rp. He is interwoven in to Lev's soul. He's moved up the food chain over the course of millenia. A mindless thing that gained sentience by accident, has melded in to something else and has no clear definition of where it stands in this whole charade.

And once he gained way too much power, fancied himself the son of God himself and decided he would reopen the gates of heaven to all, even if it meant consuming everyone in the process.

He's just a little bit cray cray. Or, was.

My personal inquest would be: Is Lev perma-dead?
