I never go into haunted houses. Most people have a flight response to fear, I have a fight.
My family hates it.

Well yeah, it's mostly the same stuff over and over again. And most of my girl-friends are more squeamish than me.

(I'm more of a "hey, look, I'm bleeding. That's interesting." (And then later soak through a whole tissue and three bandages because it was actually a pretty damn deep scissor blade cut. For the record, don't try to poke a hole through cardstock with a single scissor blade.)

I freeze if I am scared. Both fight and flight go through my mind (want to fight, but deeply conditioned not to)

Yeah, I could have told you about that with scissors (Rule #1 - Don't point sharp objects at anything you don't intend on being cut...has cut my thumb open a few times)

I'm not really scared of sharp objects and blades. Besides needles. More specifically, epidermals. I....eeps.

Actually, gore freaks me out. Perhaps because I empathize too easily. I can't stand to see anyone in pain or crying.
