Why are there always 3 or 4 or 5 or more books now to a series?
I used to have a sig. Really.
Default #421
Err, that is the definition of a series? More than 2/3 of them.
Also, think acts in a play. Many modern series do follow that sort of line (Unless they go 6+)

Game of Thrones! The first book, I've managed to get halfway through the second before I kinda gave up. Now I've started the first book of the Wheel of Time series, it has been slow going but I hear it gets better

It actually gets worse. :P

Basie- What was the reason you gave up on the second book?
I was thinking of reading the series and was wondering what you thought of it and the first.

The last book I finished was 'Look Me in The Eye' by John Elder Robinson. It basicly cronicles what his life and what it's like and living with Aspergers syndrome.
Known as Kajiko almost everywhere else.

Not counting books I read because I had to for class, the last book I read because I wanted to was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I'd read more books, but I just don't have that much time with classes. This summer though! I'll read until I can't read anymore.

The last book I read was House of Scorpion by Nancy Farmer and I am currently reading Divergent.

It was an unexpected find. I remember when it first came out I got it for a friend for christmas but I am not sure he ever read it. I remembered that fact and decided to buy it for myself. I loved it. I like the author and her style of writing. Its very vivid.

The story itself is very interesting. Its about a young boy that is breed to be a clone and the trails he has to go through. His original donor owns a strip of land that America has let him rule. They farm opium and his donor is basically a drug lord.

Well, I recently finished the Reanimator, and am going through other Lovecraftian Works...

One thing I think Stephen King forgot was that oftentimes good works need to have purpose and thought beyond the genre... I feel the Reanimator did so - sort of a "dark side of academia and science" theme...

Red Dragon by Thomas Harris.

So I just finished Divergent and its a lot different then the movie. I have to say I find the climax of the movie to be better though the book feels like it was an ending. Which is how I felt about Harry Potter. I am going to see if I can get the second one and start it.

Know the Night by Maria Mutch.
Won it from Goodreads. Super depressing, but aren't all memoirs?
