It's a baggy black cotton tshirt. Yes, it is very warm. Although, might be why I can walk around in what I wear during winter, in 20F weather, and not be really cold. Traps body heat and all, but it also creates a wind tunnel XD

For my stature, I'm really better off wearing less-baggy items, buuuut.

I'm from California. I shouldn't enjoy the cold. I guess the fact that I do is why my friends joke that I have Nordic blood in my veins. Granted, that started because we were standing outside after a death/Viking metal concert, and it was 22F, and I was in just a thin longsleeve under a tshirt, and no jacket.

xD So. It's a good thing and a bad thing. At least you can find one of those hand-dryers and open your shirt near it XD

I've kinda wanted to go to California but idk. XD it's sorta dangerous in parts and it gets lots of quake I think?

....Oh. My. God. Why do people even worry about earthquakes? 99% of them barely cause any damage at all, and the great majority are, what, 3.0 on the Richter scale? That's like..."Oh. Hey, was...was that an earthquake? I barely felt it, but I could've sworn the ground shook for a tiny bit."

But yeah, certain places are prone to gang violence. To be honest, though, isn't it the same everywhere? Like, walking into the wrong neighborhood in East San Jose is the same as walking into certain neighborhoods around New York City or Chicago.

That was actually my first and only concert so far (and yes, I went to a metal concert as my first -- that's gotten my some amazed looks from my friends). It was probably the adrenaline that was keeping me warm. Also sweat from a really crowded venue and headbanging way too hard.

Bluh. The one I really want to go to is Wacken. Freaking /Germany/. Several days of metal and everything related to it. Parents would never let me, though, haha.

I could've gone to another concert last week, but no one else was going, so I decided not to.

To be completely honest, there's nothing you'll find in terms of crime in Cali that you won't find in the worse parts of any other large city. (If you ever need to go to said areas, please do not wear red or blue.)

xD I've ... only really experienced the scare of a tornado. I've had one pretty close and it knocked the power out of the whole city for like a week. o_o the store near us was completely running out of stock, almost. xD It was a rather intersting experience, but not a fun one. XP

Okay, well, up close and personal with a tornado would be bad. My dad's driven past a few smaller ones on the highway, though.

With regards to red or blue....hm. I guess if it's really small and a minor detail on a shirt or something, that'd probably be fine. But back in highschool when my class went to an area in East San Jose to teach kids in a school in a part of the city tied to gang violence, there was a strict rule against wearing red or blue. We also had to stick pretty close together when we were outside. Our high school didn't want to take any chances of us getting hurt.

I mean like. Most places are pretty damn safe. Just don't go into the wrong part of town. Should be pretty obvious if you do get close. There are a few places around where I'm at that look hella shady.

Loke and Loki refer to the same person/god. It's just a different spelling. I usually go with "Loki", but the song title goes with "Loke".

I guess if you're counting all concerts, I've been to another one that took place on-campus. I was only there for like...half an hour, before I got sick and tired of cookie-cutter pop.

And yeah, for both iPhone and Android. If you like stuff like...Final Fantasy or whatnot, you could look into it.

Well it was close, but not to the point where I could see it, but I was still kinda scared. Dx... That and the time I had to walk home about half a mile-ish when it was flooding to around my knees in freezing. freezing cold water and heavy rain were the only two disasters I remember going through. xD

I mean, I went to a private Catholic high, and we were expected to do community service. This didn't count towards our hours, but was considered a learning experience.

I don't usually have to worry about it either; I live in a decent neighborhood and there's no need for me to go to shady places. But I'm not under the watchful eyes of my parents anymore, at least not currently, and some bus routes go through sketchy areas.

Well, our campus only had that concert because it was part of an annual event -- Carnival, which was really big this year. 100th anniversary, and last Carnival before that build over a large part of the fairgrounds. ...I'm not too happy about that.

Even on campus, Campus security and campus police hung around the concert. They have to, really. EMS was also there. Good thing, too -- a few people passed the fuck out because Carnival is basically four days of violently murdering your liver.

The other concert I went to (the one off-campus) wasn't in the best neighborhood, and police were there to stop us from loitering after the event. (My friends and I were booted off the premises even though we wanted to hang around and chat.)

I mean, it made sense. We only had 10-15 required hours and four different groups, depending on what grade you were in. The groups were 1.) the mentally disabled, 2.) The elderly, 3.) children, and 4.) the poor. And then any sort of service that fell into those four categories (I had a special case) could count towards an award. I usually (unless I started late) did more hours than required...I actually reached over 100 hours during one year, volunteering at a museum. It was pretty fun.

I'm actually not a fan of carnival-y stuff. Now, Carnevale in Venice...that's a different story altogether.
