The regular poison ailment. That's a lot for an RPG. Poison DOT should be more like 5%, but you should also factor in whether you have antidotes and whatever.

By fighter, I mean swordie. Warrior. Knight. In most games that have three main classes, they're warrior, mage, and archer.

so technically yeah, basics use swords with physical skills. xD then theres archer and two types of magic, healing and attack.

If antidotes are really hard to come across or super expensive, then giving Poison a high dmg rate isn't exactly fair. On the other hand, if antidotes are easy to acquire, then the player should reasonably have a few on hand at all times and be able to cure the Poisoned character pretty fast.

okay so 10% should be good, since they'll be available in stores and some in chests around where poisonous monsters lurk. :B yesyes?

now the question of that, plus regen heals 5% per turn. I don't wanna make it too easy/unbalanced. DX
seriously, having a spell like 'protect' that halves all damage is... really hard to balance... so i made it 25% instead...

I'm not used to having a regen besides in MMOs.

Though it's sorta useless in FFX and FFX-2 /:
I like a good regen though. x: Not sure if it should be 5% or 10% though.

Okay, so, so far, I have this for an assassin;
Poison attack
Backstab (x3 dmg, 1 turn to execute)
Eva up self
Paralyze attack

Lets see...
Do they do smoke bombs? (% to blind all enemies or 2-3 random enemies)

Smoke bombs would be more of a ninja thing.

I only remember FFIII and FFIV; there was no regen in those games.

Hm...could probably have a skill in which the Assassin enchants all the party's equips w poison; each hit has x% chance to poison.
