XD as a member of that site I can tell you its basically tumblr with avatars. Someone on the site called it Reddit, but I am not familiar with that one. If you stay away from t he nfsw forum its pretty decent. You just have to work really hard to get gold unless you are a spammer.

The avatars look like painted figures instead of pixel and you don't get much choice for body shapes outside of buff or buffer, boobs or more boobs. But its an 'adult' site. Nothing as fun as second life though in terms of adult activities.

xD Pictures and gif's. The avatars still have undergarments if that is what you are wondering. I think its more that Gaia's original user base is getting up their in age so they wanted a place for them. I myself have been on gaia since 2004 and I am now ten years older and do not care for teenie boopers.

XD I thought this thread would be about gaia itself still but it's about gaia's offshoot. My only thankfulness is that the offshoot stopped allowing visitors go into the nsfw forums and took it off the front page. Makes it easier to access the kitten gifs.

Well I have not been back on gaia enough to try to make up gold. And if they want to blame some one, the users have only themselves to blame. Instead of charging sensible prices they push the gold cap to its limit. Gaia wanting more money, went along with its values and well. Gaia is now after wwI Germany. This is what happens when the value of your currency drops and you keep pumping currency into the system with out a way to make its underlying credit stronger.
