The first robot/mech items I thought of off the top of my head were BORG, Kaimid's eye plate/mechanical hand, and the steampunk wings from both Victorian Vestments and Aeronautic Funk. I'm sure there are more, especially from more recent items, that I haven't used often and don't immediately come to mind. The only downside is that all of them are either DIs or old event items. The Tune Up common set has a giant wrench that will make you look literally like a mechanic, though! xD

Yeah I thought of those too plus Broadcaster and a few others. I just want to know her definition of it cause Steampunk bores, Scifi robots, and plain old scary monsters with mech implants all fall under that and I want to make sure guidelines are clear. Would suck to make an avi and not get theme points cause you had a different definition.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I guess I just assumed everyone would define mechanical the way I did (as something inorganic, preferably with metal and/or moving parts) but I definitely see your point that there's a lot of vastly different styles in there.

XD Am I the only one that thinks an explanation would be too easy? I mean I think every one can interpret it their own way. And having her say something might limit the avatars to a set group of items. There are plenty of items that are clearly mechanical and some that can be fudged. The first thing that comes to my mind are a lot of things Lucid said.

I can see both sides to it. Ultimately it's up to Mizzy whether she wants to elaborate on the theme or not. I have pretty much made my avatar already though and am just finishing up a few details, so it doesn't matter either way to me.

I made two…. I am deciding…. Lucid get on Skype and tell me which one.

Aww, don't give an explanation Miz. That would be too boring. It's so much more fun to check out entries based on people interpreting the theme on their own. ;)

I think we kind of lacked all the parts I needed to really pull this off, but I am extremely pleased all the same.

Whats wrong with the word "mechanical"?
The theme is 'Robots/Robot Parts'

You must have at least one item that is robotic on your avi.
(Such as items from Bio Force or bionic overlord)
Those are the two items I can think of off the top of my head.

I wonder if I have robot parts. I tried with the eyepiece and the key item to represent mechanical things but I am not sure that counts as "robot parts". Please advise if it does not.

Galla is so good at baseless avis. I'm so jealous!!! My avatar is technically baseless but really the only difference is that I'm missing an arm. Everything else is covered with close in all the typical spots because I suck at deviating from the typical human shape.
