Rum's not my preferred drink, though.

....I mean, what? Of course I don't have a preferred drink. I'm not, uh, supposed to be drinking. Yet.

Uh huh...*nudges Espy with my elbow* C'mon mate, y'know Rum is tasty. Although Vodka does quite well, as does Whiskey.

....I'm never taking another shot of vodka ever again. (Read: I'm doing that as soon as I get back to school.)

But honestly, I don't understand the appeal of rum. I'd rather just go with hard limeade.

Eh, I enjoy the taste and how well it mixes. Or just as a stand alone drink. Although Bacardi 151...that stuff will burn going down and be prepared to make some weird faces if you aren't prepared or used to it.

I like the spiced stuff, Sailor Jerry's and Kraken, with some Coke.

Well, because of some things that happened as a kid I never plan on drinking, ever. And the one time I had something soaked in an alcoholic drink (because my mom would not stop making a scene) I ended up with a headache from just a bite. =.=;

That sucks, but for some people it does happen I have a friend who hates the smell of it. Alpha and I both don't get hang overs though so to us it is just fun. I have a low low tolerance though.

lol, good thank you have fun, most of my memories of people drinking involved the windows to our house getting broken (and by my real mother no less!). And my dad used to stress drink, which didn't help either, though that was only because of what my real mom put him through. After he filed for divorce he hardly ever drank anymore, mostly just on the holidays. And now days he doesn't drink at all that I've seen. Last I checked we don't even have a bottle of liqueur in our house.

If you're okay with vodka but you don't like rum, then you haven't had good rum. Cheap rum is harsh and icky. GOOD rum is another story entirely.

I didn't drink until I was older than that!
