The creature was from a game adaptation of "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" - a science fiction/horror novel that is the inspiration for one of my stories...only replace "Computer manipulating/abusing every aspect of humanity with the last living human" with "Computer seeking to turn its creator into a fully empty - soulless - being while driving interstellar human civilization to extinction."
