There are also apparently genetic defects that cause horn-like protrusions to grow at different places, somewhat similar to the "Tree-man" - so, yeah...

And as to the jewelry:

Well, they don't look like horns to me, they are not big enough. D:

And that jewelry makes me skin crawl just looking at it. ^^;

I was just explaining why they don't look like horns to me. x'D It looks more like horns might burst out of their head. Horns like the ones you're wearing look like horns. And I've never met a person who had that done. o.o

Oh, one person underwent plastic surgery to look like they had the face of a cat. And there is apparently this thing with massive meat-hooks...

Though Elf Ears look cool, and body modification along the lines of "allowing a person to do more than they could before" are interesting.

Oh wow. I remember watching this documentary on TV a long time ago. Especially the beginning with the neck rings, I still have a vivid memory of the whole beginning half of this documentary. xD
