Depends. Gifts from older members is somewhat common...and the post/aurum amount is reasonable. Just need a more active community.

It looks like you've already got some commons and some crane game items. Between aurum, the crane game, the free commons in the shop, and token items, you should be able to start collecting items pretty quickly. Welcome, and I hope to see you around some more! :)

Newbie poverty is a thing, sadly. But not for long! Tris makes it easy enough to acquire items in bite size amounts. Takes a while to mass up a wardrobe, but at least you don't have to be confused for a nudist for very long.

In terms of commons, the Cross Choker in Trinkets and Tresses in one I frequently use. If you search the commons shops for "necklace" or "choker", you can find a few more that aren't so collar-like.
