It's called Collins little book of scottish clans and tartans. My surname is scottish, so I am hoping that my surname is in the book; if not oh well. Its only about 11-12 dollars so its not too bad.

There might be a free wayyou can do it. Of you have a commen surname you'll have a cladic tartan. If its unussal or a dying heratage your not likely to have a tartan.plenty of places do tartan finds for surnames just dont get your hopes up. Would also ask elderly rrlatives who may or may not know if any ancsetors still reside in scotland if your from a emigrated bloodline.

It's a very popular scottish surname so it should be in there, but we will see. I know what the tartan looks like anyway. It's light blue as its main colour.

Ah cool its a good start at least. With my surname being Anglo Nordic it means no celtic heratgetartan though its still fun to look at all theprettytartans.
