Ah, but the red/green/blue ones are GEM dragons, not METAL dragons. :P The gem dragons are way better than the metal and gold ones.

Apparently I have a Sapphire Dragon Dungeon going on right now.. but i used up my stamina fighing ninja. 3:< proves ninja are awesome

The game tries to balance the fact that nothing resists light or dark by making it harder to get large amounts of light/dark XP. The metal and gold dragons provide less XP than the gem dragons, and light and dark pengdra can't be farmed from technical dungeons.

I think I only have 2 dark monsters and I don't really use them (yet) ones the devil/demon thingy.. and the other is Okuninushi

For the multi monsters they seem to work fine for leveling if they have wood, fire or water as their secondary element, I got a great feeding my sonia a blue monster, or am I mixing up her secondary and primary?

"Great"/"Super" are unrelated to the same-color bonus. They're totally random and can happen on any power-up fusion. The same color bonus is quiet; the only sign of it is that you see bigger numbers on how much EXP you'll get from the fusion.

That said: Gold dragons are so bad that you actually get the same amount of EXP to a light monster from a gem dragon (without the 1.5x bonus) as you do from a gold dragon (with the 1.5x bonus). It's still worth getting the gold dragons, though, because you generally want to use the gem dragons on their matching-color monsters.
