At least it wasn't some of the other people who got sarcastic with me when I told them about a third of the people I talk to either speak an Asian language or Spanish and don't understand what I say half of the time. They got sarcastic and said that I'd just have to learn Mandarin so I don't have that problem. Um...no. Unless they want to pay for it screw that because I suck at learning languages.

It really ticks me off when people start looking down on me for no reason, like at my first job after I got my degree the district manager came in and during the visit told me that when I answered the phone the day before I didn't say what I was supposed to say. I told him that considering that I had just gotten the script the day before it takes a while to get used to saying it, it takes more than a few hours to get used to saying something like that and to remember it. That was also the same person that when I explained why we put this one rack where it was he said that was pretty smart, and I retorted that since I have a B.A in Mathematics I would hope I'd be at least a little smart. And yes, I was being sarcastic about that. This was the store that didn't have any hot water in their bathrooms for years and still doesn't, which is a health violation.

Okay, I'm not in in any way saying that it's a good thing, but it's to be expected. Some people are born dickheads and won't change in their entire lives. x.x

Not so cool if you get skimped on presents. My dad would get the same number of presents and everyone told him it was his Christmas and birthday and they would be worth the same as what someone else got.
